I've noticed the same thing in many battles. I've never seen the tungstwn used unless all the AP was gone. Many times I've sat here and screamed at the gunners "USE THE GODD___ TUNGSTEN." Alas I've never gotten a response.

Here is some more detail on the current situation; Two 81mm mortar - neither will fire Full ammo load (30 He & 5 smoke) Range to target 546m No units are hiding No friendly units in area Target line is solid red Units have been ready since turn 3 - now turn 20 Units have never been under fire Still no JOY! :confused: I think I'll see if area fire has an impact. I appreciate everyones input. Hopefully there's an answer.

They are rested and have been setup for two turns. The command group is attached and is not hiding. This has been driving me crazy for months. Thanks for trying.

I have been playing CMBB since its initial issue so I am somewhat ashamed to ask this question; how do I get mortars to fire. The range is right (442 Meters). The line of sight is there; they are under command of an officer who also has LOS. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

I am having a problem in applying the patch. I get a message saying "No installation of Combat Mission 2 was found." Even after I put it in the CMBB folder and had the CD in the drive, I still got the same message. Any suggestions?

It was a great and well deserved review. Battlefront has shown there is a market for intelligent war games. Keep up the exellent work.

While attempting to play through the tutorials using the manual, I have run across numerous errors in the manual. It says “blue” when it should read red (pg 200), “southeast” when it should say northeast (pg 198), etc etc. It appears to be editing problems but it is confusing. Has anyone else run into this in other areas of the manual? So far, other then the aforementioned, the game seems great.
