  1. Sounds like what came up was the EXIT screen (that you see every time when you exit the game)..

Well that's also an issue, as when the demo closes down, I don't get an EXIT screen, I just get a black screen, and have to Ctrl+alt+del to get out of it. I then have to reboot to get the demo to start up again.

  2. Hi, I played the tutorial mission on the demo, then exited from the game. About half an hour later I decided to play the game again, but when trying to connect to the game, it wouldn't start. I had the screen with the option to Buy or Play. I hit the Play button, and all that happened was that the same screen came back up minus the play option, in other words, only the Buy option was then available, and the game doesn't start.

  3. Hi, long time absentee here, player of all the original CM games and delighted to see the new edition, which looks fantastic!

On watching the videos(which btw are absolutely great, well done and thanks), I noticed that when squads of Infantry are attacking they seem to group really close together, instead of spreading out a little more, especially when they have gone to ground and are returning fire. One grenade or mortar round could cause many more casualties than if they were spread out a little. Is there an option to select formations? Thanks.

Keep track of who is playing and compare names here. I feel that if you use Team Speak you would be able to know more of what is taking place with Multiplayer games so start logging onto the team speak server when you play multi player games.... My server is ip # 69.42.3.18:8767 join anytime it is up and enjoy.

    I was playing Single Player!

It's called BvS10 Viking, possibly the coolest vehicle I know. Thats the Swedish designation. In UK it's called The Royal Marines Amphibious Viking

but... thats an arctic terrain vehicle... developed especially for us scandinavians... what the f-ck is it doing in a desert setting? </font>

athkatla: LOL. I've seen more cliping into the walls but not crawling through them. Was it near a door?

No, it wasn't a building wall they were hugging, just a wall.
  7. I apologise for not providing a screen-shot as I'm not sure how to get them with this game. Anyway, if someone can tell me how I will reproduce this bug and post it here.

The bug, basically is that I had a machine gunner on the roof of a single story building in the prone position with a wall on the edge of the roof that he obviously couldn't see over. However, the machine gun was halfway through the wall and he was firing at the enemy.

In the same scenario, I had a machine gun team in the prone position laid at the side of a wall and when I changed their facing, one of the team actually crawled through the wall, whilst the machine gunner turned to the facing I ordered but the machine gun was not in his hands and was facing the original position.

    Steve

Problem solved. I have 2 NVidia 7800GT 256MB in SLI. Evidently the game doesn't like the SLI configuration as when I turn it off I can select all units and vehicles with no problems. When I turn it back on again, I cannot select any vehicles or units.

    No, I have twin NVidia 7800GT 256MB cards. </font>

No, he is saying that in the game you don't have to manage the adjustment procedure.

This is correct. As a former Mortar Fire Controller (MFC) in the British Army my job was to identify the target, work out the grid reference and direction to the target, and send this to the mortar line with an order to 'Adjust Fire' with one round. From that round I would send corrections something like 'Left 100, Drop 100, Repeat' (although normally with that small a correction I would ask for 5 Rounds FFE, but you get the idea. If the original Grid Reference was way out, you would probably have to fire several adjusting rounds to get on target before Firing For Effect.
