Thanks for the input.I really enjoyed using CMMOS and still do,so if you are going to keep it updated I will use it.Nice to know you can use both though,keep up the great work guys,that's why these games are the best around!It is very appreciated by people like me who love the mods but don't make them.

Haven't posted in awhile but I'm anxiously awaiting CMAK arrival and I've noticed that there is a new mod manager available MCMMM.I have been using CMMOS with great success in the past but I'm wondering since there hasn't been any updates since May if MCMMM is the way to go for CMAK. Will I be able to load MCMMM and still keep CMMOS or will I have to start over again and uninstall CMMOS? I haven't been able to find a detailed answer in my search,anyone? Thanks

FreeWork, I haven't been on this forum for awhile but I do have the Hastings Howards zip file that includes the scenario and the beach mod that applys to it.Drop me an e-mail and I'll be glad to send it to you.I was e-mailed the other day by someone who searched the past posts and found me out and I sent it to him.It's a pretty good one and I don't think you can get it at the Depot.

Also noticed that the caption for the Panther VD early has Mr. Noobie's dirty weathered BA-20 as well.Ruleset 062-252 description needs to be changed as well,easy fix and the mod works fine. Just a heads up on this and keep up the great work!!

What you need to do once you have the zip downloaded is to go into your CMMOS Beyond Overlord part and you'll see a configure icon down on the lower left,click on that and then it goes to your add remove screen.Make sure you click on the rulesets icon in the upper left and then click add,it will pop up a window and I usually d/load my zips into the mod option selector folder cause it's easier to find your ruleset or mod but if it's not in there just look in whatever file you d/loaded it to find it and then click on open that's in that window that popped up and your ruleset is applied.It will show you that in the left side box whatever rules you have installed.In CMBO you must install the actual mods into your bmp file whereas in CMMBB the rulesets and the mods are zip files that you add the same way as I just explained but you must make sure your in the CMMBB part of the CMMOS.Hope this helps.

Mike, Excellant job on the unis and I'd like to thank you and the other guys on the great job your doing taking CMMOS to another level,by the way I have all the rulesets and mods installed for CMBB and I don't see the Autobahn ruleset in CMHQ where Gordon did his last update before he left.I have all the others except for the new ones that you haven't released.Is it somewhere else? If you have the time and a fast download I would recommend getting CMMOS 4.03 and all the mods that go with it.Then fill in with some of the others that are not CMMOS compliant to make up for them.For example it's really great to apply Magua's Normandy terrain mod via CMMOS and then add the Utah beach mod from Der Kessels Hastings Howards scenario and then after your done just go back to CMMOS and change your terrain in a heartbeat to something else.It's really that simple once you have everything configured into CMMOS.Now with more mods coming for CMBB on CMMOS it will just get better.When I access my CMMOS in a scenario It's really unbelievable what I can choose from uni's to flags to winter terrain and skys (CMBO),CMBB soon to come thanks to these great guys on here that really go that extra mile to make these games fantastic.

Is it my understanding that you are trying to command your troops while the action is taking place? If that is what you are asking you cannot command your troops once you click go.The series of events will take place for 60 seconds and you will have no control during that time or am I misunderstanding you?

Still playing CMBO,in fact I'm about halfway through Hastings Howards at this time.Really enjoying this scenario,using Magua's Normandy terrain along with the Utah Beach mod and it looks pretty darn good.Got the new CMMOS 4.02 working and have d/loaded all of what's available for CMBB and actually the CMBO/ CMMOS compliant mods as well(thanks for cable).Just haven't found the time to start a CMBB scenario yet but it looks pretty good from the little I've played.CMBO will always be played by me with all the great scenarios available.Why quit?

You are trying to install it in CMBB and not CMBO file right? Sometimes I found myself forgetting to make sure that I checked the box in the lower right corner. Otherwise I'd say try d/l it again and see if it works.If not Gordon has been very helpful to me with my questions you might want to e-mail him directly.

Went to Der Kessels site and I get an error message when I try to load Hasting's Howards.Anyone know what's going on or where I can get it? Scenario depot just takes you to Der Kessel's site.I have the :confused: scenario but I didn't save the Utah beach mod and I'd like to get it again.Any help is appreciated......

Did you download both rulesets? Dunkelgelb and dunkelgrau because one is for early war grey and the other for later war tan.

I second that!!! If you haven't loaded CMMOS yet do yourself a favor and try it.It takes an already great pair of games and makes them fantastic.

Thanks for the response.Actually I've got everything working fine once I got the CMMOS loaded and printed the how-to text inside of it AND with some e-mail help from Gordon(thank you)it is pretty easy to load the rulesets and mods for CMBB.Now I'm working on the old CMBO rulesets and mods and that's done a little differant but it's getting done. This thing is really fantastic!!

When I d/l this where do I save it to? I d/loaded it once and saved it to a folder and then when I opened it it seemed to extract a bunch of files but where did they go? I can't seem to find the documentation to read on this anywhere.Can someone give me a quick tutorial on what needs to be done to at least get me to the read me documentation or I'll just give up! Feel like an idiot. Thanks

Thanks for the info but I downloaded the patch from another site and it went in smoothly so apparently what I downloaded before wasn't completed properly even though I tried quite afew times off the CMHQ and Battlefronts site.It's working fine now Thnaks again

Had to reinstall C.M. and have version 1.03 (shows on bottom of screen) Downloaded version 1.12 patch and just when it completes the download it pops up a window -destination program files cmbo directory and when I click on finish it comes up that it can't create v1.12exe. and then I'll click ok and then it comes up with an extraction with one warning.Seems no matter how many times I've downloaded this it does the same thing.What the heck am I doing wrong here.This can't be that difficult is it? The game I have I got when it originally came out so I need to get this patch in.Anyone got an easy solution since I'm not that computer literate anyway.... T :mad: HANKS
