  1. Within the next 12 hrs I offer you 1.65 odds on someone posting a "gamebreaking bug thread". www.strategyodds.com
  2. A certain degree of chaos on the terraces is important for creating the right atmosphere, in my opinion. The hooligans nowadays mostly fight amongst themselves (in their beloved "firms") hours before a match or after it. Sometimes not even on match day! Oh and, cheap beer is too expensive here in Sweden!
  3. Yeah, I can imagine, a tad bit chilly brrrr We had to put one of the tracks back on in the middle of nowhere during winter...
  4. I used to drive one of those BV 206 too! I19 Boden 90-91, Älvsbyns kompani. Real fun driving through 1 meter of snow with the rest of the platoon hanging on for dear life on their skis behind the vehicle.
  5. Only seven hours left of 2007 here in Stockholm, Sweden. Cheers!
  6. Best wargame ever? There can only be one: COMBAT for the Atari!
  7. I think they chilled out for a bit, had a smoke and told each other some funny stories. That other enemy squad with ammo spoiled the party!
  8. It´s the STuRm Geschütz-button (oh my god what a bad joke...)
  9. Hey all you Battlefront guys! I´ve never posted much on these forums even though I read them almost every day. But now while I´m at it, I just want to thank you for what looks like a really great game. All the work you´ve put into it seems to have payed off. And what small quirks remain (every game has them) I´m sure, with the level of support that you put out, you will do your best to correct. Wherever you decide to take this game next, I´ll follow! And now back to that small town...
  10. Thats good to hear! I just stared in disbelief at the screen as the AI took apart my "happy few" pixeltruppen and their sodacans (=Sdkfz 251/1?) of transport vehicles, haha! But Ill give it another shot, or two. About the Javelins in the training campaign. My squads immediately took out the tanks and one bunker, but it took them a while to take out the second bunker. Don´t know why. Had one squad run back to the Stryker to get more Javelins . Some of the soldiers kept shouting about more tanks on the horizon but that must have been a mirage
  11. Exactly. Just click "Campaign" in the menu and you will see it. I will go to bed now and in the morning at 0600 hrs (hrrm, or maybe more like 1000 hrs...) the invasion will start with 2000 guns opening up all along the front. It´ll be a sight for sore eyes. Good night (good morning) from Sweden fellow CM´ers around the world (including Finland).
  12. Oh, and before I went in I levelled a couple of buldings with Javelins. Cool...
  13. 1st training mission: no problem! 2nd training mission: no problem! 3rd training mission: no problem! 4th training mission (clear a small town): disaster! Haha, three men standing after 4th mission. Great fun though, total chaos. And now its time for invasion of Syria. Something tells me casualties will be high! BTW, runs fine on AMD sempron 3300+, 1 Gb memory and GeForce 7600 GT.
  14. They fight for whoever pay them the most money. Just like in the good old middle ages up to about the 18th century before conscript armies. One thought springs to mind: There has to be some insergent with a ****load of cash ready to invest?
  15. Ok, I messed up the quoting-function, haha I meant to also say that maybe the suspension looking weird is actually a way to sneak up a hill showing as little of the tank as possible?
  16. I just installed Windows 2000, I had 98 before, and now this weird problem showed up. I´m playing trust mode with a friend and after the phase in which the screen turns blank, CMAK exits and I get two messages. One says something about resolution 0*0 not supported and the other says CMAK can´t open file window. I had to change the CMAK preferences to 800*600 to get it to work. But of course I want it running at 1024*768. This problem does only occur when using pbem in trust mode. Has this happened to anyone else?

  19. I´m praying every night before I go to sleep, and every morning before breakfast!
