Let me know if you need some space to host some pics/files Mikey; I have loads xtra at my mac.com site allocation.

Looking forward to it Gurra. All the Bulge scenarios for instance demand some grimy JPzIV's and /70! AndrewTFs versions just seem a bit too clean though very very well done I'd might add.
-
I'd like to take a look at them David but unfortunately the cmmods shop has been closed the last few days.

To all the modder gods: This pic shows some select JPz IV's and the IV/70 (A & V) mods from 'BB with I think a most beautiful camo pattern. The original author of this mod must have been lost in the "CMMODS crash of 200?" because the models don't exist on the site anymore. Anyone know the author perhaps? The IV 70 (V) version isn't available in 'AK but these 'BB mods sure looks pretty {Unfortunately, the 'BB models don't fit with the 'AK ones at present}. Would be nice to see a similar version in 'AK. I like my AFVs a little dirty and dusty. Any takers?

Best way around it [on a mac], is to right click (option-click) on the Download button, "Download Link to Disk" (assuming you're using IE) and rename the "click.php" to whatever the battles name is plus the .cmg suffix for battles, .cmh for operations. For example, this battle would be named Worthington Force.cmg upon saving to disk.

Here -> The Scenario DepotOriginally posted by BulletRat:Ok cool, can we get a link or something to these scenarios? I checked the Proving Grounds but they don't seem to be there?
-
FYI: they are listed in the 'BB section not the 'AK area of CMMODS.

I believe Tom was just reinforcing what MikeyD had to say as per our "situation". We suffer slightly by holding on to older models just so as to play CMXX (the current versions} but dare not buy a PC
As it is, I function quite well with the box I have but await patiently for a G5 till the next glorious version of CM arrives. Once CM is for OS X, I think we'll see alot more interest in the game on the Mac side.
btw, Moon mentions the possibility of a Mac version of Modern Naval Battles. See MNB thread (show topics from last 45 days)

Another good place is powermax.com They have a number of the last(and fastest) dual-boot machines Apple offered. Specifically, the Mirrored Door models here: http://www.powermax.com/cpus/used_by_model.html
I've bought several Macs from them over the years. They do BTO and are Apple authorized. Myself, I have a Quick Silver. If you desire the MD, make sure its not the "leaf blower" model though [the early MDs were loud]

Thanks Admiral. That fixed it here too.

Here is another vote for zipping all files at the Depot. IE 5.1.7 (the latest v. for Mac in OS 9)
can't open it properly. Got the same result as M. Dorosh.

Will there be a Mac version available? OS X or otherwise?

The Aug.'41 CMBB battle by Abbott was called 1_MG_PB.cme. It has no briefings btw.
I have it on my HD if you'd like it sent to you. I found it to be a good "vs. the AI" battle also.

They look very good HB. Just a note to Mac users though (and I ran into this problem when I installed Saturnin's original CMBB models); Sat. used a slightly different pink in the wheels area and it needs to be adjusted slightly for Mac machines. Thanks to Panzermartin for pointing this out last year:
Here is a "before" pic, before I used the Magic Wand Tool in Photoshop to fix it:Originally posted by panzermartin:If you have a paint program with a "color replacer" tool, you can fix this problem with a few double-clicks.It is due to the fact that Saturnin is using in his mods the pink R:255 G:7 B:255 which in a PC works fine and looks transparent in game, while in a mac
(which from what i've read somewhere in the forum is more sensitive in the pink color
ranges in game) doesn't work correctly.
The default pink color for transparency in CMBB is R:255 G:0 B:255.If you replace all the pink areas with this color ,the problem will be solved.
Hope this helps

Seems its not platform specific, maybe just a Nvidia problem(?). Anyone with a Nvidia card (GeForce XXXX) able to see the proper graphics? Whats your graphic card tooz?Originally posted by tooz:Just checked them and put them in motion in a QB--all's fine with my system (Dell laptop). Thanks for the heads up about these guys, but I'm sorry some of you guys can't seem to use them.

Mac here with GeForce3.

I think the problem lies elsewhere. I have the above BMPs in my folder and have the same problem.Originally posted by mike8g:The patch did not install properly.
It should have added these BMPs to your BMP folder:
19160 to 19179
19180 to 19199
As these files are missing on your computer, the Australian captured tanks are displayed in black color (= no textures found)

Found a fix. The original 18205 bmp was 196k, the Aris version was 260k. Took the Aris version into PictureViewer, exported at "best depth" and this reduced the size back to 196K.
All good now.

Problems here also with 18205. On a Mac with a nVidia card.

Link for the English Mac version isn't available yet (i.e. no clickable link) as of 1433 CST.
Even more mods in the works...
