...(1000 Yard Blank Stare)...
I bet Boo gets that look from everyone he meets.

An earthquake woke me up this morning.

You better watch out for Peng!

Boo, you idiot, I am Rune, and doing ok but tired after the angioplasty, that was my son Jr. Evil posting to let you know. He used my account.
Rune
I was confused after reading that too. Glad you are doing okay.
How did he post all the smilies? I can't figure it out. He is Evil Jr.

Found a RPG anyone here can wrap their brain around
That is funny!

You should check yourself into a hospital immediately! You haven't had any strange cravings for haggis lately, have you?
Michael
No cravings for haggis, but I do crave Cornish Pasties.

Boys and girls, this is your brain on drugs.
And not very good drugs either.
This is scary, but I think I understand what OGSF is saying.

I think our Australians contingent needs to relocate to Syndey ... I understand it's lovely this time of year ...

Another reason NOT to live in Australia. No wonder so many Australians choose to live in the Cesspool.

Okay, I'm off on Thursday. Yeah, yeah, I know, you lot regard me as having been off for years. All packed, except for the cigars and shaving kit, told my Small Friends about how I'll probably be eaten by an alligator (they did not seem particularly concerned, but seemed to regard this as being somewhat intriguing), and it's all over now bar the shouting.
And, with any luck, screaming. We're going to have a laptop with us, and free Wi-Fi in the hotel room, so I may be able to keep you lot posted on what I'm attacked by. Well, at least until the attackers win...
Have a fun trip! Watch out for the water spiders!

Well i've got quite a lovely bunch I must admit....
Lucky for me I don't!

Boo Radley said,
Joe, Boy toy really needs that one-track mind...think about all those years spent in prison. -
I get his books!
I get his jackalope!

I am Grandma Steve. It is Destiny.
Thanks for the Small Friends story Grandma Steve.

Besides the Gnome being attacked by an alligator gar or horseshoe crab.....
I think the most likely thing would be a water spider. When I was paddling the cypress swamp in southern Illinois, the thing that I had to contend with most of the time was trying to keep all of the spiders that would walk on top of the water from climbing into my kayak. Lucky for me most of them were very small. At one point I saw a large sized spider heading quickly for my kayak and I quickly paddled away as fast as I could! Eeek!
So I think most likely he will be fighting off lots of spiders!

There are also large man-eating snails which, although not reptiles, are known to be quite vicious.
Michael
I would go with probably a giant horseshoe crab or maybe an alligator gar.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATCHY!
Maybe I need to paddle Northern Illinois, some time...
Just paddle down the Mississippi and then up the Illinois river to the Fox River and then paddle upstream to Fox River Grove. Watch out for all the dams!
Illinois has the most northern cypress swamp in southern Illinois, the Cache river runs through it. I paddled it with my sister this past October. It was very cool.

Happy New Year Pillocks and Nongs!

Black Sea ... I find your ignorance appalling ... if typical.
MTB/MGB actions were uquiqutious lad, ubiqutious. Give me some Dog Boats, some F Lighters and a couple of S Boote for escort and it'll by Gawd BE the Med ... just see if it won't.
Or perhaps a flotilla of Vospers going up against some Coasters with a Voorpostenboote escort off the Hook of Holland.
Joe

Not yet. To everything, there is a season. I am smoking a cigar that is too good for me, and drinking a beer that serves me right. I will suffer, but, as always, it will be...later.
I am going over this evening to the foul miscreant Dalem's house, to watch our 'Christmas Movies'. His is 'Scrooged', and mine is 'We're No Angels' (the original one, with Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray, and Peter Ustinov).
Isn't 8:00 in the morning kind of early to be smoking a cigar and drinking a beer?
I had oatmeal for my breakfast.

Gnomey,
Thanks for the small friends stories! I enjoyed reading them.
