hey, hmmmm, ok, thats understandable. what about the color though? can you make one of that original german green color? i believe they called it apple (or apple blossom) green or something like that. do you know what i am?

i don't know the etiquette for requesting a mod or if people even do them on request but i have a very simple one in mind if anyone can do it. i would like to have a mod for german helmets that is more the grey green color, or that color with the heer decal on the left side. i have a picture of what i am talking about if anyone can do it. thanks in advance and let me know if i'm crazy for requesting such a thing.

hi phil, all i can recommend are the ones i'm using. don't have much experience with others but i am completely satisfied with the ones i use. they are: Panzertruppens high detailed building v2 DD's hi res grass and snow textures, plus all his trees and tree bases. All of them can be found on combat mission HQ under third party mods, grass and terrain textures. Another very small one that adds a ton i think is JuJu's craters and foxholes. if you can't find it, i can email you the files, they are very small. last but not least you will want some good smoke and explosion mods. i'm pretty sure i am using the ones on combat mission hq as well. hope that helps.

ok, it appears i'm awake and ready to go, my poles clutch their rifles peering through the fog, listening for clanks or rattles or a whisper of german. unfortunately i think my opponent and his troops are all sleeping comfortably out in the mist somewhere!

hey, Gebirgsjager troops have the same file numbers as your regular wehrmacht troops with the exception of one arm, here are the file #'s: 5016 5017 5018 5019 and the seperate arm for mountain troops is 5061 hope that helps

oh, it should be easy to figure out the file numbers of units in question, just download a mod set of ones you are looking for and check what numbers they are. hope that helps.

hey captain, i have the same problem but only with my ami airborne 44 winter troops. it's strange because i thought i did locate all the bmp files for each uniform but even when i write over the files the troops i said before come up with a summer arm. ??? go figure, i just live with it. i have tons of mods (literally, my bmp file is 206 megs) and i'm not about to change everything for the sake of one arm. which uniform mod do you use? maybe it's a problem with a specific type. i'm using andrew fox's allied uniforms, all types.
