What are the expected specs for SC 2? I have a really low end system.
J Kruger
-
It should cost $30.

If you're going to buy a cat, you might want to see what it looks like, no?

Great work! It looks really good, and I am also so glad you provided lower res versions, that makes me happy!

What year is "The Tank" set in? I don't have that scenario, I guess it only comes with the Special Edition. Did you understand my post? See, if you are playing in 1944 but the mods you installed alter 1942 textures, you won't notice the change... conversely if you are playing in 1942 and you install mods that alter the 1944 textures, you won't notice the change.

Is dunkelgrau the early-war grey colour? I think I may know what is happening... in CMBB there are two sets of textures for many German vehicles to reflect the change from grey base color in the early war period to the yellow base color and many different camos in later war period...
So, for example, the Marder II, if you play in 1942 the grey color (or whatever you replaced those BMPs with) will show up but in you play in 1944 you will get a yellow or camo scheme (or whatever you replaced those BMPs with). Hope that helps.

Yeah, you've definitely got to makeup and post a tutorial for that technique on your site, gautrek! Really cool!

RL is really smacking me. I wish I had time and energy to develop my modding skills, but I don't.Originally posted by gautrek:real life intruded again HK?

I'm looking forward to checking these out, MikeyD. Sometimes the small things make all the difference!

No, I am not trying to be purposely thick. I was unaware that the edit stamp does not show up unless it is longer than two minutes. When I read the thread I posted my feelings and perhaps I was too hasty, so I apologize for that. My comments in my original post weren't just directed at you and I'm guessing not everyone saw the original reply of Mr. Murray and I felt they were out of line. I think I'll be quiet now! No hard feelings, ok?Originally posted by R Leete:That is the edited post. The original was what I refered to here and both above posts. You trying to be purposely thick? Note that an edited post does NOT display the edit stamp unles it is over 2 minutes between post and edit.
I knew I should have quoted the post when I replied. To quote Murray, "mind your own damn business."

"Think I missed a period somewhere. I'll have to check." is pissy and a rude comeback? I don't see him saying anyhwere the he doesn't like being yelled at in the initial reply to MikeT either. It was only after you posted your message that he got defensive. I didn't like the tone of some of the replies so I posted my feelings... I'll let it drop when I'm ready or I'm asked to by someone who has authority here, which is not you. That being said, I've said my piece and probably won't add anything here unless something interesting is said.Originally posted by R Leete:The part that no one sees, is the initial reply made to MikeT. He started getting all pissy, and posted that he didn't like being "yelled at". Note that MikeT has not edited his post, so it's apparent (at least to me), that Murray was overreacting.
My post was meant to be partially in jest (hence the all caps for "yelling") and partially to reinforce the request that the link be fixed before he got all defensive about the noting of an error.
Next time, fix the link before you post a rude comeback. I will give you credit for the fact that you edited it out afterwards. Now let it drop.

What's with this board lately? The guy was just trying to post a link that others might find informative and like to visit... is it really such a trauma to you to click on a link that doesn't work?! I mean, does this never, ever happen to you in your day? People are human, they make mistakes, sometimes they go quickly and just forget about one little character and so what if they don't doublecheck like you do... seeing the comments in this thread are truly disappointing. This board is for all of us to enjoy...

Are you okay as long as you don't open the attachment? Even if you don't have any sort of Antivirus software...

Hello,
I am *considering* joining, we shall see though. I'm really busy with life questions and trying to find a new job and such, so I'm not promising anything. I just wanted to say it sounds like a good idea

Wow, I've yet to come across that site either, until now. Looks to be very promising!
