No, but I hope to soon!

Me either, though I don't come into the CMSF forum much. He makes excellent points I happen to agree with a lot of the time.Originally posted by thewood:Unless I missed a post somewhere, I haven't seen Dorosh post anything I would call "bannable". I have seen some of BFC's testers post more confrontational stuff than Dorosh, and I don't even think that was bannable.

Excellent post, Michael. You've summed up my feelings exactly! I definitely think CM has gone the wrong way.

I have not touched this game and based on the price drop and the bad press, seems like that was a good decision. May try the demo one day, but CM1 is my bread and butter for now.

I would buy it. As long as fixing the CMBB fortifications bug was in there, hehe.

I'm not surprised or shocked, but I am somewhat disappointed!Originally posted by Cuirassier:Why do people always seem surprised or shocked when there is no news?

For another CMx1 game I would pay $60 - $70.

Um, BFC has publicly stated forcefully that most of their customers prefer to play alone, ie. vs the AI. So a competent AI would seem absolutely essential to the success of the game.Originally posted by Prince of Eckmühl:2) Yeah, it's lame, but the game's really meant for multi-player, so it's shortcomings in this respect don't undermine the integrity of the design.

Nevermind, I found some!

Hi, how do I find the actual map section of CMMODS please and thank you??Originally posted by Vergeltungswaffe:He has quite a few in the actual map section of CMMODS, which no one has used in quite some time, in case you only looked in the AK or BB sections.

Great work... may I ask how many map packs he has released?? Are they all available at cmmods.com?? Again, thank you!!

I read that book and really enjoyed it. While I am no grog, looking back I can agree with some of the criticisms above. However, it is sad news to hear, and I would recommend the book as well.

I am interested, but one thing that made me hesitant before was believing I would not be able to complete my battle in time... can you clarify the 7 turns in two weeks comment?Originally posted by PSK:Most battles are played PBEM.. But if both players agree to TCP/IP that can be done too.
The Game clock moves 15 minutes every two weeks (will probably move faster in the future but since we have alot of battles now and lacking players the clock has been slowed down)
Every turn in CMBB represents 2 game minutes. So If you are in a battle that means you have to do 7 turns in two weeks.

I agree, make them an OPTIONAL feature, one that is easily done away with or reinstated. I personally liked them.

I know this is really early, but just wondering what's been said about system requirements so far and what can now be said by BFC...? I haven't been following CMx2 as closely as many people here, but I am still excited about it.

Hey MikeyD! I recently downloaded these Panzer IIIs of yours, they are awesome, inspiring work! Have you done the Panzer III F, G and H or do you plan to? Just curious, not meaning to pry or prod. Again, great work!

I got to see it about a week ago. I enjoyed it but it was not spectacular as I had hoped. Of course, with all its success and hype that may have colored my expectations a little, but I usually try to keep expectations low in my mind for all films I see. I concur that Ledger was great, but I also feel something was missing from The Joker's sotry a little. After seeing The Dark Knight, I think I like Batman Begins better.
