  1. Treeburst, Just wanted to update you on my brain-cramp, I figured out how to handle .txt files through hotmail. So, not to make waves, lets go back to my Hotmail account please. kurtlindquist@hotmail.com now zip or .txt are both alright!
  2. Well....I have a new email address and all section 3 members should take note. I'll use it a few times before the tourney gets under way. Hope this solves my issues now!? Thanks for all the help...happy hunting! Kurt kurt155kurt@netscape.net
  3. Thanks Commish, I will look into those sites, and get back to you all with any changes. And Jack, Thanks to you for your invaluable info as well!! Kurt
  4. can anyone turn me on to another email service worth using?
  5. Treeburst, Thanks for your hard work, I'll take them when you send them,(itchy trigger finger). I still have this nagging feeling that I'm going to run into a zipppin files problem. I believe the files that will be sent to me need to be zipped, no matter what the size. Someone please tell this isn't so, that Hotmail isn't as evil as I think it is!! Kurt
  6. Hello y'all!! Great to be a part of such a challeging tourney! I can't wait to get started! I'm a PBEM man, I can't seem to free up enough time in my day to catch my favorite teams.....so TCP is out. I know whats gamey etc. I'm a realist, it all comes down to common sense to me. And to me it's all about having fun. I would also like to get all five games going at once if possible. To all my opponets...good luck, have alot of fun, and lousy shooting Kurt
  7. If the file zipping is going to be a pain in the ass, can anyone suggest another email service where zipping isn't an issue?!
  8. any room left??? Count me totally in!! kurtlindquist@hotmail.com and zip those files please!!
  9. Hi Ted, You'll have to get those Engineers right next to those boxes, and then wait a few seconds. But the best way is to manuvor your tanks into a firing position and then fire off a few rounds, then manuvor again. The wooden ones light up on the first shot if you have good LOS. The boxes usually take a bit longer. Tip: lay down a carpet of smoke from your boys on the hill. It's as good as knocking them out! The smoke with leave after a turn or two. Good hunting and welcome home! Kurt
  10. I actually moved all the stuarts around the far right side. with their speed and smallness, I was quickly behind the first tiger....actual took out the tiger with a rear shot at full speed! I then hid the stuarts, and waited for the others to arrive. I then gang rushed the group from three sides, and the stuarts scored two more tigers before getting wasted. AAR: the HT got toasted, most of the troops made it, and I lost around 5 tanks.
  11. I personally like the purple sticky kind!
  12. Andy dude, Those are the best yet! BTS send this man an application!!!!!
  13. Nice one David, Ironman's rules are for jar heads! I'll take the cookie crumbs if no one wants them?
  14. I'm having a big problem down loading non-zipped files from other players. Everyone says you don't have to zip the PBEM files for the games to run well, so what's the secret?? I'm running a PC with plenty of power, though, I don't know what my opponets are running.
  15. Man, I knew I shouldn't have dropped out of that German langauge class!
  16. That's what I love about this country, everyone has an opinion. Thanks Chad for the topic, I'm sure we all are a bit more enlightened now!
  17. That's beautiful Stuka!! O.k. can we bury this bullsh-t and move on. Give it a rest, we ALL got the point! Lets have some more "gamey" topics to fight about. The three things not to talk about at the dinner table: religion, politics, and gamey CM tactics. I've read alot of hot air from alot of members over the past several months. (many from members with low membership numbers) Have we forgotten that this is a game!!?? Warhammer
  18. Franko, I heard some great things! Please one more if you don't mind. to: kurtlindquist@hotmail.com

  20. I Rett, Thanks for the response. I'm at work so I can't devote much time right now. I'll be home around 5pm. Thanks again Kurt
  21. Would someone do me a huge favor and walk me through the process of a TCP/IP game?? It seems very complicated. You would like to move up and take on some human opponets! I have an 866mhz with 128ram, so I believe I can host games. I'm in the process of up grading my video card as well - so bring it on!! Thanks in advance, Kurt
