    Hmmm... let's do a quick check of refferences here. Da Beginna... a student. Me... a business man in this biz for 9 years. Da Beginna... has school books with theories printed in them. Me... sales statistics directly applicable to the sales of CMBO and CMBB. Da Beginna... thinks nothing is improved by going with CDV. Me... thinks the exact opposite. Now, who should people believe?

    making friends? Of course you have your sales stats and I have my books (plenty of them - believe me). If you think your stats make me happier - I don't think so. I have a certain perspective and it is shared by many other costumers out there. CDV made is possible that I can buy CMBO in the shops not only online. Great. Maybe this boost sales. Maybe it spoils my enthusiasm when I feel as a customer "second class" because I live in Europe.

    I don't know because I'm a (stupid) student and haven't found anything in my books on this model of market segmentation. tongue.gif

    Just a little topic and everybody is going crazy. I didn't expected this - I'm not sure if I should like this.

    I don't want to spend my time wise-a...ing about marketing. Actually I'm doing a MLL (Business Law) and think I have a rough idea about things. Once upon a time I read your manifesto and was really enthusiastic about it - I think you changed your views a bit since then. CDV spoils my time looking forward to CMBB a bit - but nevertheless I will buy it. You guys make fantastic products! I play CMBO and Strategic Command again and again - it was easy and very convinient to purchase them via your site. That's why I really don't get channeling via CDV. I think it doesn't improves your market penetration...

    but hey - NO OFFENCE - this are just MY personal views.

    I'm pretty p.... off with the order handling of cdv. Still you can't even pre-order for the English version in Europe. For the people who still haven't bought CMBO cdv charges 46 bugs. While you can get it for 30 from BTF - if you ain't from Western Europe. More 15 bugs difference in prize is quite a lot... isn't is?

    Maybe you BTF guys improve your marketing?

    Hej!

    Same with Sweden - I regret to say. I wanna have the GAME. Is the game in Western Europe (w/o GERMANY) the same as shipped in the US? I would really prefer that. I'm able to speak German but who wants a bad translated game w/o SS Units?

    By the way - I learnt in school that Sweden is Northern Europe. It's f@£$ that is seems to be Western Europe in CDV's view.

    Pre-ordering in Europe

    Hej Folks,

    I just tried to pre-order CMBB. I know now I'm meant to pre-order from this CDV site because I live in Sweden. Hmmm, I learnt in school that Sweden is Northern Europe - well maybe this is hair-spliting...

    Nevertheless I visited the CDV "shop". There I realised that is it only possible to pre-oder when you want the German version. I'm able to understand German but usually German versions of games really SUCKS. Bad translation + the German laws related 3rd Reich things usual really SPOIL games. :mad:

    Please help a guy located in (North-)West Europe keen on the ENGLISH version of CMBB!

    I know that the grognards around doesn't give a *#@. on the graphic interface of a game but I have some questions: :confused:

    Will the houses in Russia be the same like in Germany? Will I have do "mod-hopping" to improve display the scenery of the different places?

    And by the way - the DEMO is just out and the Mods on the T-34 look much better than the original...

    I went down to the cellar and broke down and cried for hours - rubber bullette.

    What about my dear old Hotchkiss? In the campaign "Against old odds / 1. scenario" it proved to have some combat value. It killed a couple of bren ca., tiny stuarts and men.

    I was dissappointed when I realised that other French tanks used by the 21th in Normandy like the Somua S-35 or Char BIS weren't displayed in CM. I guess you just can't have every thing...

    Dear comrades,

    Actually I'm not new to this forum it only was the first time I felt the need to writte something. If beta testing is about mathematics you are right, I wouldn't be a big help.

    But I think it isn't unusual to let a certain number of players test play balance, give ideas about the user interface and even about right German spelling and so on...

    Well if it shouldn't be - c'est la vie. :rolleyes:
