I did both. I have CMMOS mods and CMBO in the default Program Files\CMBO folder. CMMOS installs into a separate directory under Program Files, but no CMBO. I should be able to figure this out with a bit more help. I had the whole "Batch File" thing going before I decided to upgrade to CMMOS. Darn it.

I deleted my batch files when I decided to install CMMOS yesterday. Now I'm frustrated, because I can't get it to run, even though it installs. Boy, I'd REALLY be grateful if somebody could help. I'm fairly computer literate, so I'm sure that my error is a simple one. Thanks.

I downloaded the CMMOS program and it looks terrific. I'm a reasonably intelligent person, and I read the instructions. Unfortunately, I don't think that I installed it correctly, because it won't work. Could someone give me some additional guidance, please? Thanks.

Treeburst, how do we go back to the drivers that you have after we have updated to drivers that make CMBO crash?

When I first got CMBO back when it first came out, the game ran fine!! I have the above video card and drivers. I have 511 megs of RAM and an Athlon 800mhz CPU in my Gateway tower desktop. I recently upgraded to the new Nvidia drivers and haven't played CMBO for a while, but now that I'm back, I'm having trouble and it's driving me nuts. I can't figure out why the game now randomly locks up on me during a scenario! I have to Cntrl Alt Delete and End the program, which loses the game I'm playing. Are the Nvidia drivers the problem? What drivers are recommended for my video card? Is it my sound card? I have a Soundblaster Live! Thanks for any help. HELP!! HELP!! I'M REALLY GOING NUTS!

What do you folks think about these ASL conversion scenarios? Do they play well? Are they complete scenarios, or do they still need work?

I recommend the ASL conversion scenarios. Trust me. MMP didn't shut it down quickly because it was junk.

I've heard many say that the M60 was a copy of the MG42, but I've always wondered why they don't look alike. Is that notion really a "myth"? How do we know? Too bad the M60 is out of service. Anybody interested in seeing a MG42 should head to Bosnia-Herz/Kosovo. They are still around over there. Don't try to bring one home, though! Your explanation that you need to do research for a computer game won't get you through Customs! I guess they don't play computer games.

I was playing against the AI when a tank/infantry traffic jam occurred way in the rear and out of range of the enemy. When the tank apparently ran over a squad, one of the infantry was killed! Looked to me like he was run over by a friendly tank! Comments t the effect that this is not modeled are interesting. This may or may not be true, but at least the phenomenon seems rare.
