The Sock Monkey Mlapanzer tie breaker should be over as soon as Sock gets out of bed on the west coast. Right now as it stands he has knocked out 2 hellcats and 2 jeeps. I have knocked out a Hetzer and a 250/9 I have bead on his last Hetzer, If I get him I will be able to run circles around his Jagpanther and make him so dizzy he throws up all over his vision slits and will be blind. --------- It's good to be at the top of the food chain.

It's looking bleak for me in the tie breaker. A regular uber-hetzer took out 2 veteran Hellcats :mad: 2 Shots 2 kills.I did get a 250/9 but man I haven't gotten an eass armor in this game yet. The armor kill gods are not on my side. ------------ It's good to be at the top of the food chain.

Sorry Senor Beef I disagree. No matter who picks the troops I think it should be a R/P/S match and who ever wins gets the Germans. No choice of sides. If you think you get the short end of the stick so be it. If it is Iron Duke picks I don't think he would intentionaly favor one side over the other.After all it is the ASS KICKER of the month tournement. If you are truely an ASS KICKER you will win with any troops you are given or give it your best shot and take your ASS KICKING. Of course this is coming from the guy who has had 2 draws in a row so what do I really know about asskicking ------ it's good to be at the topp of the food chain.

quit franky did this happen much. Maybe maybe not. I know when I was in the Army everybodys second job was as an infantry man. As for game play. It very most likely would not matter much to the outcome of the game. I mean how many rules are you going to make outside the rules of the game to cover such things. Hell there are alot of things we do with bitmap soilders in this or any other game that would most likely never or very seldom had happened. So I say go for it unless You and your opponent agree on such things ahead of time. After all it is still just a game. ----------- It's good to be at the top of the food chain.

WOW ! WOW ! WOW! another draw. :mad: . The final score was Sock monkey 49 Mlapanzer 41. He got it so the VF was in ? But if it could have gone a few more turns I think I would have prevailed. His one Panther close to the VF had a damaged gun and one remaining Jumbo had him in his sights. His KT was surrounded by my infantry and a zook had him in his sight from the flank and I ahd infantry close by with Gammon bombs. Sock used his armor very well and I kept trying to get flanks on him but every time I did he killed my flanking Hellcats. His one Panther was really Uber. I must have bounced 15 shots off of him without any serious damage. My Bronze star goes to my jeep MG unit which killed a Puma and several infantry units plus kept his KT and Panther buttoned up and distracted them from their duties. All in all a great game. and lets get it on ASAP with the tie-breaker. I'll buy 50 Jeep-MG's ----- It's good to be at the top of the food chain.

Had an unxepected trip to the beach for a few days. Can't pass up a free beach front room. Thats over $300 worth of room. I think Sock monkey and I can get the game finished by Monday night But it does look like another draw . Does the tie breaker have to be done by then? If so I guess instead of the Tie breaker we could do R/P/S if you want to keep the tournement rolling along. Sock Monkeys last report is very accurate. :eek: Question is does he have the balls to try and take the OB at the end.

I think that if the vote is being recast with different parameters that anyone should be able to revote since the first vote was thrown out. Of course what I say might not even matter since my game hasn't been decided yet. but it will be soon we're on turn 15 or 16 and Sock Monkey is making his move torward the VF. My Uber-jeep has finally succumbed to a King Tiger. He was almost out of ammo anyway. It's turn 12 in Purgatory. Another Puma dies. This time to a Zook. Funny thing was the Puma seen the zook fired at it and killed one of the team But Sgt. Rock loads the zook himself and under fire gets of a shot. One shot one kill. Thats the way I like it ahuh!! While on the other flank SS moterized infantry ran across another crew who radioed in and is bringing down arty on them. Don't ya just love those para teams and crews acting as spies Sock Monkey Really a great game going on that still hasn't been decided. Another turn in Purgatory and more flames. I lost a Hellcat and a Priest. Don't care much about loosing the Preist except for the points. . Sock monkey lost another Puma that was guarding his flank. Sock Monkey is keeping his guys on the edge of the map. So I expect another rocket barrage then a dash for the victory flag.This one is going down to the wire. It's turn ten in Purgatory. The gamey little bastage has unleashed a rocket barrage. Don't you know Sock Monkey we Americans LOVE rockets and fireworks. It was fun watching them fly over the top of us. Got any more for us to watch it is getting close to the 4th of July. I don't really care about who picks the forces. But I like the idea that if you do that then who gets which should be randomized someway. Also I'm not so sure I like the idea of doing attack vs. defend it's really tough to design those kinds of games for play balance without playtesting. just my 2 cents. Sock Monkey and I are on turn 8. My 50cal. Jeep took out some kind of crewed weapon. A Panzerscheck I think and a Puma this turn. . He also spotted a King Tiger. Come on Sock Monkey move that King so I can fry him. . I have spotted most of his assets. I don't blame them for surrendering. That paratrooper team was out of C&C and was attacked by a Panther and a whole plt. of fallschirms. They killed 3 Fallschirms before surrendering. They did there job they we're just acting as a tripwire and spy team. The battle does seem to have settled down into more of a traditional meeting engagement after the initial flury of action.Going to be interesting to see how the battle goes when it gets into the town that looks like Mrs. O'leary's cow was there. :eek: . Looks like a battle of bird**** and idiots in purgatory in this one. Thats Paratroopers and Fallschirmjagers if you don't know the saying. First round a slight edge to Sock monkey who managed to get a Hellcat . It was to rich of a target environment for him. But Sock Monkey got bloodied also loosing alot of Fallschirm's. The really cool one was when my Jeep MG flew up from behind a squad and eliminated it. It looks to be a bloody fight in purgatory who will go up and who will go DOWN. ---------- It's good to be at the top of the food chain.
