Parp!
(message too short my spotted arse. that message was just as long as it needed to be.)

You are assuming that the curmudgeon has such a new fangled contraption.

Prior to today I had never heard of the Jonas brothers. I therefore am inclined to view them as completely unqualified for such a gigantic undertaking. Probably they should be locked away somewhere to prevent them from creating chaos and anarchy.
Michael
Sage words from a socially, and pop culturally, disconnected hermit.
Can we get a 'Get off my lawn, you damn kids', since we have you here?

And don't sleep with her either. That really would be wrong.
Unless your wife fancies her as well and then it would be aaallll riiiiiight.

In the parlance of today, 'talent' can be used as a reference to women of questionably moral character who might possibly perform sex acts for money. Is that what you meant? Isn't Boo a bit long in the tooth to be out on the stroll?

P.S. - Before anyone thinks I've lost my marbles,...
Too late.
Ali-Baba, that was superb.

If I was betting, I would take the side of the barn to win that duel 8 times out of 10.

OK, let's not get all stupid now...
I thought that was a defining characteristic of forum membership? Or was that just for the Peng boys*?
*Ladies of the MBT being of a finer sort and not included in mudslinging.

Where the hell do you find such oddities? Oh, and the Monterey sea air should do those classics a bit of good.
FWIW, the Subaru Police car looks pretty good.

Nashville is a horrid little place. Hot, humid, full of rednecky muzac. To top it all off there is a now vacant building that once housed 'Seanachai-an Irish Pub'. What sort of place allows an Irish pub to fail.
Now I will go to my grave without having been inside of Seanachai.

Ditto. I was disappointed with CMAK for all the usual reasons, but I would dearly love to see a family of games set in NA and the Med in general. I would even gladly surrender Joe Shaw into slavery for such a family.
Michael
But you would as equally gladly deliver said Joe for a grilled cheese sandwich. Your 'gift' is cheap and cheaply given.

....3rd Module will be a sort of mix-mosh of stuff not covered in the base Game or the first two Modules.
By the time the Normandy Family is complete, you should be able to recreate any battle within that timeframe. Well, within reason of course
Steve
That's what I am talking about!.....except for the whole 'within reason of course'. Reason is really so limiting. So constricting. So damn...well, reasoned.

Although it would be great if we could launch all the WW2 games/modules with one EXE and have it as one big game.
Especially in many years time when Ostfront is out, operation unthinkable anyone?
This hasn't been completely eliminated as a possibility but it isn't guaranteed. The last that I remember Steve said it would involving coding on par with a main title/ family not just a module. At which point a bunch of people agreed that an additional $50 is a price we would pay. But that was the hint that I remember.
Who knows what the game engine will even look like by the time the WW2 set of families is all wrapped up. Hell, the BFC gents might just get fed up with us and bugger off.

My expectation is that, in toto, the CM:N unit roster will put the one in CMBO to shame.
Steve has said as much in an old, now forgotten, thread.

I think I will save this one for home

Well, the combination of the Right wing parties and marginalizing an ethnic group, if not outright excluding them, smacks a bit of that time. I couldn't believe the wall through the town. wtf?!?!?!?

Emrys, what was life like back then? Do tell.
-
I am quasi-interested in CM:SF now that the modules are rolling out. With a baby on the way I feel my gaming time will be severely curtailed. I love the 'Pause' feature when in the WEGO mode or PBEM and hopefully this will serve my gaming needs during the upcoming drought. But my heart truly lies with the Normandy theater.
Anyone have a red dot sight?

up from the depths....
Well, it has been some time but this is what I ended up with.
Spike's Tactical 16" upper:
Built out my pre-ban Olympic Arms stripped lower with Daniel Defense parts, Magpul grip and stock:
And after much internal debate found a killer deal on this Aimpoint CompM2 through the Equipment Exchange on a certain AR15 website.
Now the waiting begins.....again....
