  1. A buddy of mine told be about this game late 99. D/L'ed the demo and had a blast with 'Valley of Trouble'. Actually got my ass handed to me on the first go, so I shut down it, reloaded the game and got pretty far before I realized that I was reacting to the setup from the last game and enemy forces shifted/ moved to counter my moves. That was a 'Whaaaaaa.....?' moment. Gawd I miss those days.

  2. I see people trying to use FB for marketing but I don't tweet, follow tweets or any of that nonsense. Why would Chrysler have a twitter account? Who would follow it? 8,000 followers? I could carve a banana into the likeness of Che Guevera and get more than 8,000 followers.

Corporate America trying to get in social media is doomed to fail. Mostly due to the fact the reason follow these social media outlets is because they are a)topical, B) whimsical, c) edgy or d) some combination of the 3....all things corporate America is not.

  3. Used to be a neighbor. Nice guy but......occasionally he send me stuff like &rrid=306961997]this. A quick snippet to whet your appetite.

The truth is that the germ theory of disease is where monumental profits are. The germ theory teaches that flu is contagious for humans by touch, coughing and through the air.

Also the germ theory of influenza is a great diversion. It has diverted attention away from the human environment within. This is the condition of the human immune system. The difference in our immunity is the simple answer of why some of us get the flu and others don’t.

Finally, after 100 years of deception and trillions of profits from the germ theory, the profound and multiple effects vitamin D has on human immunity has burst out and liberated millions from influenza for all who will listen. Watch out!

I have offered to buy him a tin foil hat on more than one occasion.

  4. The only fact we have to operate on is that this is one sick SOB.

    What he said!

There was an article/ op piece about this terrible event being hijacked by pols on both sides and ignoring the plain fact that this dude was f*cked up in the head. We have an alarming lack of facilities, specialists, hospitals, government programs, etc. to deal with people with these issues. It is this failing which drives, in large part, our homeless issue.

Despite the details of who was shot, with what and the motive(if we will ever know) the bottom line is that this guy needed help and we as a society failed him. The price was paid for by the taxpayers but by those 6 dead and 13 wounded.
