I was wondering if anyone likes to hear a particular tune while playing CM? I was just surfing the net and listening to some mp3's at the same time. I figured I could just finish a PBEM move and send it off, so I loaded up the game. I had just started to watch the movie, when winamp suddenly starts playing Wagner's Ride of the valkyrie :eek: (of Apocalypse now fame). Let me tell you, going down to no. 2 view and following my Tiger mowing down infantry on its way into a village and hearing that music made the small hairs on the back of my neck stand up! I highly recommend that track for the complete CM experience

I must object! I find this whole subculture to be extremely gamey! I just lost my übertank to a shot from a soda can. :mad: Furthermore the peng challengede needs a patch as some members seem almost immune to close assaults even with .50 caliber machineguns! BTS, do somefink!

I'm Danish and not really an expert in the German language, but their is one thing that seems peculiar to me. All the translations are in the the "original" verb form. This is kinda difficult to explain since English is'nt my first language either(curse this useless Danish tounge). What I mean is, in the original English form all orders are in the form you would say to your men. Errrr, perhaps I should give an example. You would shout out "Hide" to your men. I belive you need to change the verbs so they correspond to this(this is making less sense by the minute). For example instead of gehen, you should have geht. Hey Kpork I had the same problem as you. As has been suggested, try some smaller battles. I find that 400-800 makes for a battle where you can employ tactics and not lose the overview of the situation( I get confused easily ). I do agree that it seems highly unlikely that any vehicle hit by a tank would continue to operate as if nothing happened. I mean come on! Not even shocked!? Imagine sitting in a little open jeep that is unmercifully being pushed backwards by a Tiger I tank! I'm not even talking about the jeep being crushed by the tank, but surely if the Tiger is pushing you back, your close enough to reach out and touch it and you can even hear the German commander in the tank shouting orders, surely you would be seriously shocked and most likely jump out of the jeep before the tank finds something to crush you up against like a little insect. A giant steel box of death with a huge gun pushing your tin can all over the place cannot be good for your psyche.

Hi I greatly appreciate all the many great tips and techniques found on the CM boards. I was wondering if there are any comprehensive stratgey guides to CM? I know there are guides to various topics such as battalion defence and armor attack. I was wondering if anyone has made a complete(or nearly complete) guide that gives detailed information of the many facets of CM. I'm guessing not, since it would seem an almost impossible task to do, but I'm hoping I'm wrong ------------------ I hope i haven't brained my damage! -Homer Simpson

I think that it is wrong to make laws that criminalize people because of what they believe. I live in Denmark where freedom of speech is a cornerstone of our society. Even though I am disgusted by the views of the nazis, they have the right to believe what they want and the right to use the symbols of their beliefs in public. Of course, should the nazis commit a crime they should be punished, freedom of speech is not a shield that can be used so people are allowed to threaten others. I strongly believe that by criminalizing these organizations and their symbols, they are made even more mysterious and attractive to young people. When they are allowed to demonstrate in public they are exposed as what they are: Confused people, frightened by a world they cannot comprehend. To outlaw them would make martyrs of them, "fighters for freedom outlawed by a cruel and unjust system", I can see the propaganda material now. Anyway that's what I think

Yeah, I think so too. I believe I've seen some fotage showing a soldier firing Nebelwehuerfers via a such a remote.
