Nice Magnum!

Brilliant thanks!Originally posted by Moon:So far we got two tutorial missions (same as in the full version) as well an extra mission "T72 vs. Leo" specifically made for the demo (we'll release that one as separate download, too, you'll be able to play it as a user mission in the full version).

This is well cool - great images there Fox. Any others to whet the appetite?
-
So Madmatt - any more details on what's in it please? A full mission? A tutorial, what tank/s?

Moon, speaking of the demo - can you give us an idea what's in it? Is it the same as the Ruski one?
-
I'm eagerly awaiting this demo...

Release the demo already Moon! I'm dying over here! Please, won't somebody think of the children???

Not going to stop me...

Hehe - it's 1:24 apparently. If you type in "remote control tank" into Ebay you should find heaps!

Check this out - I bought it cheap on Ebay - a remote-controlled Leopard!Originally posted by Hub:I like that at least one new playable will be added in the future. I sure hope its a western tank. Being Canadian the Leopard sounds good. Its the one and only time I think we used her in action.
Yes, a Leo C1 would be very nice...
Or a C2...
Or a Cougar...
Or, or...

Looking forward to trying this one out..

Easy there big fella! It was a damn fine game, "in my opinion", which was the phrase that must have dropped off your message...Originally posted by Soviet General:"Panzer Elite" was a complete rubbish. Bad graphics, bad control. All things was bad.

I found the same problem in 1,000 to 1,500 pt QBs using Australian troops - couldn't afford any off-map arty support in combined arms fights.

Foamy, you've been practicing, you bugger!

Thanks fk.

Thanks for the clarification Michael, but my core question still hasn't been answered - is there an issue with availability of FOs for Allied forces in QBs with combined arms (ie in terms of the points available for artillery), or is it simply a matter of making larger QBs?

G'day
In two combined arms meeting engagement QBs, one at 1,000 pts and one at 1,250, with me as Allied regular, both around 1941, I have been unable to get enough points for any on-map artillery support - not even a 3 inch mortar spotter.
Has anyone else noticed a rarity in arty for allied? At what point level in combined arms would I get some of the queen of the battlefield?
cheers

Got mine today too (also Sydney Australia) - haven't installed it yet, but soon. Oh yes, soon!

G'day all
Playing the demo (ordered CMAK too) and got a surprise with the spotter and TRPs. I never played CMBB (stuck with CMBO) so this may be something you are all used to, but at the start of the second CMAK demo scenario (in Italy) I targeted a TRP with my US spotter, intending (with the anticipated couple of minutes orders delay) to provide some cover for advancing infantry. I got a big surprise when shells started landing in the first turn.
I got an even bigger surprise when I couldn't cancel the target and all my spotter's ammo was expended over the next two turns.
Is this a new feature in the post-CMBO series of have I missed a way of cancelling the arty? If so I'll have to get used to using TRPs differently.
