  1. Michael, I ran into the same thing... Not remembering if I had the first update I downloaded both and burnt them to a CD at work. Upon loading them on my drive at home they where named the same w/ different creation dates. I had no problems. Cheers, printt
  2. Hey fellas... slow day here at the office too. E-mail works real well such superfulous rhetoric except the grandstand isn't quite as large as it is here. Anyone taking bets on when the locksmith gets here...? printt p.s.: flame away
  3. Send it to me if you would sir? Looks and sounds like a hoot... scbrown@theramp.net Thanks! printt
  4. Specifically the gear ratio data for the MKIV H tank transmission is what I'm looking for. There are a lot of sites on the panther but none specific enough... Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, printt
  5. Is there any way to check on accumlative mine damage (especialy during the game recap/map screen at the end of the game) other than actually seeing the men muttle though the field? thanks! printt
  6. Over on AGW(Warbirds) board there is an interesting conversation going on. There are a couple of guys over there that seem to know there stuff. What started, by the sim designer, to be fact finding has take a couple of directions but is pretty much on tract. In reading note the anecdotal experiences. Pay special attention to "Wolf" and "Badger". I thought maybe one or two of you grogs would enjoy! printt The link: http://agw.dogfighter.com/agw//Forum3/HTML/021762.html
  7. Great idea! I just hope it doesn't upset the boys at BTS... I think I remeber them being a bit aprehensive about creating an Acrobat (.pdf) manual to somewhat curb the CD burner scabs. If you do create a "guide" I personally would love to see the exelent information posted at http://members.tripod.com/johnnocmdow/unit1.htm for some good "porcelain research". An Acrobat guide would be the best way to publish for it would take care of resolution, font and cross-platform ramifications. If I can help in any way just drop me a note... Publishing is my life... <sarcasm on> except for one piece of software I can't remember the title just now. <sarcasm off> printt
  8. Interesting topic! I was reading on AGW (Warbirds Board) just yesterday of occurances with skip/ricochet shots used by Jugs (p-47's) to bounce a few rounds into the "soft underbelly" of the Axis armor. Today I went to find the thread to post but it seams that AGW is down today. I will chime in later when I am a bit more informed. I don't remember if the P-47 used it's rockets or it's 8 50 cal.'s though. Which poses a good question... Is a 50 cal AP round capable of piercing the belly armor especialy after "tumbling"? Does anyone have such data..i.e. armor thickness of the bottom? If I am not mistaken there where escape hatches on some if not all tank bellies. Anyone in the know please feel free to elaborate. printt
  9. Mike, Do you by chance have a direct link to the 30 pack? I can't seem to find it on the site. Thanks printt
  10. L.Tankersley wrote: "(Sometimes you don't get the rotate automatically when moving; I suspect a minor bug.)" --------- Therein is the ambiguity... Thanks! printt
  11. Am I missing something here or is there a real difference? I've yet to detect one but that's not saying much... Thanks, printt
  12. <S> Rommel! If you don't mind, I'd like to give it a go.. Thanks, printt (scbrown@theramp.net)
