Oh yeah, I forgot that everything here is backwards...

Yeah well, I got a response from Matt so I figure this thread can degrade to the normal forum seriousness spectrum. ie: none

Have you made a Canadian map? Don't know where to send it? Send them on over to me to host on my site! (see link below)

I just thought of something, I don't know if this has been mentioned before in the hunreds of millions of billions of CM2 threads, but being able to designate units and "captured" and "unarmed" in the scenario editor. As a scenario desginer this would be neat to use in designing "rescue the prisoners" type games.

What I'm hoping for is a type of mine that you can place in a house. Not one that will demolish the house, but one that would go off if say, the soldiers went up to the second floor, because the door to the stairs is mined....

I can access it from my Netscape, I just wanted to tell you because some people may only have IE. The same thing happens when I try to access Waxx_IK's site. It's damned annoying.

I think it's a matter of perspective. I always figure it's the radioman that performs the heroic act, while the Lt. is shivering with fear and looking for the nearest Officer's Club.
Just like in the movies, the Lt. is always the inexpiranced soldier, and the platoon sergeant is the seasoned veteran. Like in that old vietnam show "Tour of Duty"

There are 4-8 men in HQ platoons, 8 men can do alot of damage to a tank, espcially if it's buttoned up and can't see, shocked, or out of ammo.

Just incase anyone missed my first post a month back, I've started a website devoted to Canadian Units in CM. If anyone has _anything_ related to Canada for CM, send it on over to me to post. Mods, Scenarios, Operations, AAR's, Pictures, Links to sites, ANYTHING at all, mail it to me and I'll post it!

That reminds me, I haven't heard from Mike since he sent me the textures, so I'll ask again, do I send the maps to you or Mike?
