JasonOriginally posted by JasonC:On another thread you requested a look at a scenario in a different game as an info source on this. I don't have the book you want, and don't know what it is you need from a scenario - and I don't know if I have that scenario either (lol).
I have the game, but no idea what you want or expect from your minimalist posts. What information is it that you require, and is it readily available to anyone with West Front?
Thanks for the reply please email me at Wayne100@emirates.net.ae with CMAK in the subject line and I will explain all. I have the West Front scenario in question and will send it to you.

Hi
I'm gathering information on the Australian attack on the Italians at Giarabub in March 1941.
I have the scenario you need to run (The Holy oasis, Giarabub)
I need someone to data mine that scenario which was made I believe by Alessandro Grazzi.

Yikes a need for a second bump - where art thou Australian military history grogs?
-
Goooooood news

Vs AI but you can balance it by adding to the German side.
A bit of a challenge to the German player vs the AI

Looking for a detailed OOB and diagram/map of this action against a fortress/oasis in Libya by the Australian 6th Divisional Cavalry and I think the 2/9th Battalion (Queensland?) March 19-22, 1941
I have detailed info on the Italians but was wondering if anyone might have the following book:
The book written by Colonel Castagna, Giarabub's commander, - La Difesa Di Giarabub - includes a few quite detailed maps of the Giarabub area, defensive works and units' placement for March 1941.

Good Lord man do you want to go blind? Get CMAK immediately!

Happened all the time - even in peacetime. I was shelled six times on the OP during training: four single 81, 1 x 105 and one battery of 155 - I never did forgive the NG battery that did that. I was somewhat hostile to them on the radio.
They scratched my M577
Oh and airforce tried to get me twice but they weren't even close.

is at the Scenario Depot
This is a historical and challenging scenario for the German attacker as the 1st Panzer Division heads south into France after breaking thru the Weygand Line.
June 11th 1940
I'm back

Oh is that what Peng is. I always thought it was a support group for lobotomy victims

Also wanted to mention how valuable that info is, hopefully at some point the great CM database will include all this data for all to ponder.

Thanks Jrcar
Not sure if I can produce anything for N. Africa, I lack any historical resources where I live (no libraries or descent bookstores) will be ordering some of the materials above.
If anyone knows of a good online source of downunder company level info for N. Africa let me know. I found some material, particularly for "ruin ridge" but lack any background......actually I checked the SD and found a shocking lack of Aussie scenarios, disgraceful, where are all those ozzie scenario designers?

Thanks found it

Agreed, hopefully at some point the Admiral will find time to make such a modification.

I was unable to find the chart or data on that, could you give me an idea where I go after I hit the home page?Originally posted by GreenAsJade:I'll go look at those.
Interestingly, the stats from WeBoB show that unlike Pershotraveneve Ridge, Petrarcholi Ridge did not turn out to be so perfectly balanced.
(Admittedly off the results of only 6 games, compared to the 17 recorded for Pershotraveneve (which is the all time most balanced scenario measured so far)).
GaJ.

A begineers scenario is for people new to the game, a simple fight that an experience player might not enjoy. I have a few like that.
-
What are the official histories called?

Small Battles Republicano Ridge SCW is a balanced scenario for two players. I have a number of other ones built for two players also.
If you want WWII tnen Petrarcholi Ridge (on the CD) might tickle your fancy, balanced and two player also.

What Junk saidOriginally posted by GreenAsJade::confused:
Is this some sort of US political joke, or what...
(Hans - your scenarios are generally well labelled, and I've reviewed every one that I've played. I have passed over looking at yours more recently because most of the ones I looked at were "best played vs AI", which is not what I'm looking for).
