Send me an email with CMBB in the subject line and I'll send those to you direct

Oh Carl I found another one
Small Battles Desaprensivos SCW
Will send up to you, it's a July 1936 scenario set in Spain at the start of Civil War - as the militia of Franco and the Republic fight to gain control of the key sites in the town, while awaiting the arrival of "regulars".
-
Just a note on the two scenarios, Village Fracas is designed as a blood bath - nothing less.
The Norwegian battle requires a bit of planning -The Germans have superior equipment but the Norwegians are dedicated and have a few tricks up their sleeves - including some (hopefully) British reinforcements)
-
I did a few Polish based scenarios for CMBB
Small Battles, Corridor.cme
Small Battles, Polish Spoiler.cme
Small Battles, Noose.cme
I used the Soviet Polish with a mix of early war equipment to act as the early war Polish. Seemed to work.
I had previously worked out a 5 game historical campaign following the 1st Panzer Division in its invasion of Poland. Beyond working it out on paper I never made it to production (CMAK showed up a bit too soon)

Howdy SergeiOriginally posted by Sergei:Btw. where has Hans been lately? Wasn't he working in one of the smaller Gulf states? Wonder if they finally cut his internet connection...
Alive and well
A tale of woe
I was a happy go lucky teacher who had lots of time to do scenario.... then I got sucked up into the Ministry of Education....I barely have time to play the game now.
I did 12 early war scenarios. Most from the campaign of the 1st Panzer division in June 1940, plus a few Brit vs German. I don't think three of those were ever released due to the failure of TSD.
At some point the projects I'm working on will be completed and I'll get back to design. I still collect books and materials for CM scenarios. Most recently I've been gathering "background" from my Syrian colleagues who have military experience - getting operational trivia (they all hated the auto-loader on the T-72) and names of bases - where there boot camp was, etc.
Oh J2D did gather up an excellent book on Vietnam armoured battles - in a second hand book shop in Kish, Iran last month. What an odd thing to find! Good info for Vietnam scenarios - If I ever get back to THAT too.

Hi Carl
Sent you two Cmak random reinforcement scenarios
-
Very good article. I've run across the name Zaloga before in my SCW sorties.
J2D are you trying to bring me back to the SCW?
Just finished reading about pre-SCW tank actions (well kinda) in the Chaco War.

Thanks to Guera for reminding me of one I missed

Hey I guy who has tastes I like!
In the same style as Petracholi Ridge is Republicano Ridge, a balanced fight set in the Spanish Civil War.
Send me an email and I'll send it off to you.
Oh and Village Fracas CMAK is bloody knife fight with both guys tied at the wrists!
Wayne100@emirates.net.ae - put CMAK in the subject line or it'll get "spammed"

MadmattOriginally posted by Madmatt:To answer your question... Umm, I don't know yet.
Aquiring accurate language info and voice actors for the OPFOR in CMSF is going to be a challenge to be sure. Any one that has any relevant info or natively speaks the needed languages (we got English covered thanks!) should contact me directly if they want to help out.

I work with a number of Syrians (a few have been in the Syrian Army also) Let me know if you need assistance. I also know the Syrian Ambassador to the UAE and have a source to find as many voices as you might like - particularly if you want to vary the regional dialects - Syrians women and children's voices would also be available

I've been to Syrian several times, mainly for short trips associated with archaeological sites.
I presently work with a number of Syrians who were not pleased to know that the Americans are working on a game that involves them !

I work with a number of Syrians - their response was to only groan.

Actually if you made a business proposal to them
they might accept (I think they are too busy however) basicly have them quote you a cost for writing that amount of code.
Expect a lot of zeros
However again, they are a business and businesses run on money.

Fighter aircraft landing so the pilot can take some pot shots with his pistol

Howdy J2D
Was making one of my infrequent visits to the forum. Noted the AIW. How goes the world of alternative scenarios?
-
Michael did you really say this?
""There are some designers, myself included, that are happy early design efforts will not see the light of day again. Either designers will need to be contacted prior to putting the scenarios back up, or else you will have to give the designer first right of refusal once the new site is up and running with the ressurected scenarios.""
Speak for yourself Michael, I love those retched CMBO scenarios! I did more than a few myself. I mean there are some REAL gems of bad design in amongst the rare good one.
Actually I agree with you a number of the earlier efforts should die unmourned but by mid CMBB the community was puting out a much improved product and about 6 months ago the CMAK scenario production was quite mature.
-
Recommend someone tries to get everything he has. I'll volunteer as King Fahd has died this morning and that has given me an unexpected three day holiday (for mourning) so I have time to get these scenarii.
I have a site that can take 50 MB so I could take the three sets one after another.
uploaded/downloaded.
Email me
I'll give you the login and password to upload the scenarii, then I'll download and clear the site, email you and we'll do it again
