  1. Thank you khane wayne100@emirates.net.ae Not sure when I will next be able to get to a computer, so thanks in advance. Was there any fighting or was it just a sweep?
  2. Not back yet just posting this up while I'm out of the security proxy controll of the UAE. Back on vacation at this moment!
  3. Could anyone provide a translation of this? Plus a brief description of which one of the AIW battles it is?
  4. See ya guy, I'm off for a few weeks. When I get back in mid August I'll start on the PTO scenarios as soon as I finish the two remaining 1940 ones. Will do the Japanese Airborne assault on the Dutch Air field and oil installation in Sumatraf First as Japanzer was able to find a great map for that one. Five more small 1940 scenarios will come up (posted by my trusty playtesters) over the next week or so.
  5. Hi Brent I read in an account of the BOF about an incident where a French Divisional commander was captured by German motorcyclists on June 14th while being escorted to a meeting by French two wheelers. I use Kubelwagens and Jeeps in that roll. They carry LMGs, small HQs, snipers etc.
  6. Thanks guys for the info. I guess for BOF one gives the French infantry a lot of rifle grenades!
  7. A bit more info, .....'Therefore, a regular infantry battalion had 36 LMGs, 48 VB rifle grenade launchers, 16 MMGs, 3 60mm mortars, 2 81mm mortars and 2 25mm AT guns.' Ah yes those VB rifle grenade launchers seem to be the platoons internal AT asset
  8. Thanks Frank Hhmmmmm, I had found a unit designated Peleton de Fusiliers Motorcyclistes....so I'm not sure, I believe we may need a native or bilingual speaker on this one. Damn where are those Belgians when you need one!
  9. As clearly as I can understand from what I've read is that the French didn't have a platoon AT system, they used more centrally commanded 25mm AT guns. They also had some rare 47mm and old 37mm. I wonder if they had some nasty AT grenades???? French Grenade Grogs?
  10. In 1940 what WAS the French plan for infantry platoon AT defense? The Brits had Boyes rifles and the Germans their own ATR, so did the Italians, so what was the French concept?
  11. In a scenario title how would one write 'Motorcycle versus Motorcycle' with the first word in German and the second motorcycle in French? Versus should be in French also....for a June 12th 1940 scenario
  12. The only way to pass information on is to repeat it constantly. even then 5% will not get the word no matter what you do.
  13. Hi Londoner Yeah the Admiral a busy guy, they should be up soon. I did send you the two files just in case.
  14. Yeah I didn't discover that for over a year. Most annoying was discovering that I'd miss the change that allowed you to increase or decrease the size of the map from any side! I say we blame Moon for not forcing us to read the manual in detail!
  15. Small Battles, Les Attaques, 1940 is up. Covers the British defense against a German probe towards Calais on May 23rd. Additionally I've taken the original historical scenario and made an expanded 'what-if' for the historic Les Attaques setup which I call Small Battles, Row at Coulogne, 1940. The 'what if' portion consists of a stronger German attack following the initial probe and the British and French commanders getting much better organized and being able to send forces up to assist the historic defense.
  16. Ah shows what you know scab eater, in the UAE we prefer "Miss Anza", camels are a Saudi & Kuwaiti thing.
  17. Yeah but for some reason it doesn't seem to stop browser burp errors...or what ever causes this multiple messenging. Actually I live in a country with a security proxy which blocks all porno, evil western ideas and anything to do with Israel!
  18. I wish, it seems to be a problem between this board and my browser-which started just a few weeks ago.
