It's looking awesome Andrew!
Would you consider putting some divisional markings on that bad boy? Maybe 21st Panzer or 2nd SS Panzer for those Normandy scenarios?

I would be a U.S. Army tanker in NW Europe in late 44-early 45. My weapon would be a Pershing. Screw those kitties, Blackjack is on his way!

I would call a squadron of torpedo or dive bombers the equivalent of an armored company in firepower and a small platoon in personel. Although MK I torpedos and 500 pound bombs have much more explosive power than an armored Co's guns they are one shot weapons, so I think the ammo load of an Armored Co. adds up to about the same.

I've built the non-motorized version, and I'm here to tell you it's a hell of a kit. It has working suspension, great detail for a kit that's made for RC and it's HUGE! If you get the RC version I would recommend getting an aluminum barrel because the plastic one looks a little fragile to me.Originally posted by Richie:I've been thinking about buying the 1/16th Tamiya RC Tiger...
Anyone out there familiar with the beast?

What? No jokes about "gay Apparel?"

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year Grogs and all other CM fans! Thank you Battlefront for keeping me inside playing this game instead of shoveling the sidewalks.

Isn't the III diesel powered and the V gasoline powered? Or is it the other way around? In any case I imagine the gasoline powered engine would produce more speed and the diesel more torque.

All this pot-shoting is making me want some Fritos....

I think I see your problem. You must use the Rule-Sets, they don't change how the game plays, they just add the necessary insructions to make the modified graphics work. Just put the Rule-Sets in your CMBB BMP folder and do NOT unzip them. The CMMOS program will do the rest as long as you point it at the BMP folder.

I've been playing IL 2 Forgotten Battles and Pacific Fighters alot lately. Very good flight sims, I also have MoH Pacific Assault, it's very pretty but it's alot harder to play than the original. Still there are some basic squad commands and the A.I. is better than alot of FPS s.

A few posts back someone wondered what it sounded like to be under a mortar attack. Having been mortared a few dozen times in Iraq, I can tell you that you don't hear any whistle or hiss at all. What you hear is the sound of the round launching from the tube, and we estimated most of what was aimed our way was launched from around 3 klicks out. These were Russian made 120mm's and you can imagine how loud the " thump" was to be heard from that far. Needless to say we all got very good at recognizing that sound.

Welcome aboard! Prepare to give up all other aspects of your life.

Heinz, Tooz, give the Call of Duty Ex Pack multiplayer a try. The Base Assault mode is killer.

Sounds great! I'm on my way to get the map and the mod!

Got 'em, installed 'em, using 'em, Awesome!

If I remember correctly one of those 90mm AA guns took out a couple of Panthers at Stoumont.

Very nice!

Don't get me wrong, I AM a total mod slut. But sometimes I like to be able to hold my models and...wait, that just doesn't sound right! Sometimes I like to pick up my models, but they always slap me and walk away. Aw hell! You're right virtual modeling is here to stay!Originally posted by MikeyD:The more the merrier! 5. Market Garden: This is a topic worthy of a book. For starters, I would agree that the missed opportunity to cut off the German 15th Army just before MG was a big one.
Whether Patton had commanded MG or Monty had, I think MG would have had a much better chance of success if the reports of German armor at Arnhem had been believed and planned for, and if Col. Frost had working radios.

Actuall that's a Panther II Turret on a G late hull.

I have personally found that ops are better for armor/mech type forces. The best ops to me involve battalion task force sized meeting engagements.

Isn't the squad level leader an unterscharfuhrer?Originally posted by Denwad:then it goes to obersturmführer for platoon level and untersturmführer for squad level and then rottenführer for team level.
