As long as it doesn’t interfere with the flow of the game, or doesn’t subtract from the experience, then a roster would be fine. How about wind effect? I.E. a burning building could set the whole town on fire with a strong wind blowing. I am reading Len Deighton's "Blitzkrieg". It deals with the rise of Hitler and the first part of the war up to Dunkirk. Mostly just a FYI type book, but it does go into detail about the types of tanks they built (PzKw II - PzKw IV), different types of weapons(artillery, FLAK, etc.), and some tactics and strategy about tank warfare. I heard that Halo will ONLY appear on the X-box. It might come to the pc, but probably not now that Microsoft owns it. Also, if you have the machine for it (PIII), Deus Ex is a great game. Silent Hunter II should be coming out sometime around Christmas, that will be a cool game.
