1. Did you ever think about the fact that the reason this thread wasn't shutdown quickly was that the moderators themselves might be posting in here as well under pseudo-names? Hmmm?
2. Ouch! That stings like squirting lemon in an eye. Don't forget.... European Cars, Starting Wars they can't finish, and let's see... oh yes, I think it was mentioned above... THE FRENCH!
3. CM3 will be the US Rap Wars, East Coast Vrs. West Coast... you bunch of Nerf Herders!
4. from same site listed above, more cool stuff! www.michtoy.com/MTSCnewSite/newplastic_folder/21st_1-32scale/21st_32x.html and a huge Stuka, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1766352242  [ September 12, 2002, 10:13 PM: Message edited by: Red Devils ]
5. Wasn't the first "panzerfaust-type" model the Panzerfaust Klein (30mm) in late 42? I believe it was also reusable. Just curious. I hadn't heard of any RPGs before this used by the Germs.
6. And sheep! For gawdz sakes don't forget the sheep man!
7. Update (correction?) on Winter War. Although I received a catalog from Belle N Blade this week that had Winter War marked as a DVD I just called them (1800-230-5509) and they said it was not yet available on DVD. No date was given if or when it would be made available. Guess I'll have to scrath that one off my list. Sorry to get your hopes up. You can still order the video through them however and many war film critics consider it one of the best (anti)war films ever made. If I recall, it uses actual T-26 and T-28 tanks on loan from the USSR. Cheers.
8.
quote:
Originally posted by russellmz: wahoo, my choice made the cut! be sure to check out seven samurai as a rental at the very least, you won't be disappointed...

Already own Seven Samurai, Ran, and Kagemusha. Winter War is available on DVD from "Belle 'n Blade" military books and videos catalog. I don't have the 1-800 -number for them right now but I can post it here later if anybody wants it.
9. Nobunagas Ambition, on Nintendo. ------------------ I'm sorry, we haven't the facilities to take all of you prisoner. Was there anything else?
10. Hey again. Here is what I decided on based on your responses and some research online. For my brother I'm buying Saving Pvt. Ryan, Gettysburgh (comes out Dec. 5th) and Das Boot ( Directors Cut). For myself, and I am surprised no one mentioned it, I'm getting Winter War. Thanks for the help.
