kb9sog, we're playing the Vahalla scenario so it's about 2 companies per side I assume (I don't know what he has).

I'm wondering if something is amiss? It seems to take as long to DL and UL a turn as it does to play a turn. I'm using ver.1.01 and my opponent has ver. 1.02 which seem to be compatiable. We're several turns into the scenario and it's taking 15-20 minutes to recieve or send the turns. We're doing it as the instruction say in the manual, everything's zipped but it still takes forever. Is this happening to everyone or is there a better way? Can't wait for TCP/IP!!

Thanks Charles, I kinda figured it out by accident last night. I was fooling around in the folder and hit the correct .exe! I changed my shortcut to that one. Thanks for the answer and the help!

On page 50 of the manual it says that a unit on Hide orders will usually hold fire until the target is well within their lethal zone (usually 100 m or less) unless their chance to do damage against the enemy is slim in which case they may continue to hide. All this depends on having a decent place to hide, buildings, woods or rubble are best. Troop quality and leadership are another factor. Takes disipline to wait till the last moment and having a leader with Stealth abilities is a boon! With that leader and crack or elite you might shoot just before they step on you! ---Goofy

I'm running ver 1.01 and when I open the game I only get the scenarios that came on the game. My saves don't show up on the list, neither do any of the scenarios that I've DLed although if I go to the Scenario folder it shows them. The save routine seems to work (tells me to name it etc) but it doesn't show in the save folder. Also everytime I close the game there's 2 empty folders created on my desktop, both empty. PBEM and Saved Games. What is going on? Anyone else run into this? Help!!

When I start the game and go to the Play a Game Option all I get is the origional scenario list. I have opened the Scenario folder and the scenarios I have DLed are there, they just don't show up in the game. If I save it takes me to the Save Game routine but those games don't show up on the scenario list either. When I close the game I ALWAYS have 2 empty folders created on my desktop, PBEM and Saved Games. Even if I just open the game but don't play, leaving just after the opening, the folders will be there. I'm running ver. 1.01 but it was doing this since I recieved the game.

I'm having the same problem plus when I close the game I have a PBEM folder and a Saved Games folder (both empty) appear on my desktop.

I'm having a problem seeing my cursor a lot of the time, especially when the game starts and I have to pick my picture resolution. I'm using the standard arrow on my display. I'm on a PIII 450 w/Voodoo banshee 16MB AGP and running DirectX 7a. If I abort a scenario there is often no arrow on the screen to pick the options or choose a scenario. Also, when I close the game there will be 2 empty folders on my desktop marked PBEM and Save. I have installed the CM ver 1.01 update.
