I have to say I am quite disappointed so far as well.
I start to wonder that maybe things would have been different if they did not devote time to making the game real time and instead stick to what made CM great in the past.
Thoughts?

All,
I have the following machine :
Intel Core 2 Duo 6700
GeForce 7950 (2 cards with 1 gig of ram)
2 gigs system ram
XP Pro sp2
Should I be able to play this game at the highest setting? Is anyone able to play at the highest setting on the smaller maps? Can someone give me a specific map (and fps) set at the highest setting and let me know what I should see?
Thx

I have a very similar setup :
Core 2 Duo E6700
Nvidia 7950 GT 512MBx2
2 GB Ram
Windows XP SP2
and I am getting very poor performance. I am busy playing Civ4 BtS so I will wait until the patch comes out for CMSF

What about a line of sight tool?

Can you contact me at : jonp@tampabay.rr.com since your system is very similar to mine?Originally posted by Douglas Rudd:Core 2 Duo X6800
2 Gigs RAM
7950GX2 Video card
WinXP SP2
Playing at 1600 x 1200 max details, runs great.
Only problem is now and then I cannot left click on units.
Other than that, this is overall, a great additon to the Combat Mission family!
Thx

All,
Here are my specs. Any ideas?
Win XP Pro SP2
Intel Core2 6700 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs)
2 Gigs of Ram
DirectX 9.0c
Nvidia GeForce 7950 GX2 (1 Gig total video ram) and latest drivers (6.14.0011.6218)
I tried using Fraps and chose the first battle with all the highest settings and I am only getting around 8 to 10 fps. I then moved the settings to balanced, no vertical and no AA and my framerate is only around 20 (this is at the start of the battle and me just moving around.
I tried the hotfix mentioned for dual cores and no help.
Any ideas? I find it hard to believe it can run this slow on my system since I believe I have a pretty high end system.
Thx

I have an Intel Core 2 Duo 6700 running WinXP Pro SP2. Is there some sort of hotfix I am supposed to apply before playing this game?

All,
Is there some sort of patch I need to get for my Intel DuelCore 6700 running WinXP Pro SP2?
I have read a few post about a patch and was wondering if this is something I should know about.
Thx

All,
I vaguely remember reading something about how Combat Mission games are used by the US Military for training.
Am I remembering right or am I crazy?

All,
I purchased this game and now realize it is not the game for me. How do we go about selling it since there is an elicense involved? Can I just tell Battlefront to release the one elicense that I used to install on my machine (we get two licenses per copy, right?)
Is anyone interested in buying a used copy? I have not got the physical copy yet but should have it soon (I assume).
If this is not allowed, please disregard my post.
Thx

All,
My CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo 6700 and my video card is a GeForce 7950 GX2 (with 1 Gig of memory).
I am assuming this is more then enough to run this game, right?

All,
I went to "The Scenario Depot II" website to download some scenarios and all of them seem to have a .cmg extension. I downloaded one but I am not able to see it in my game menu.
When I look at my CMBB scenario directory, everything is .cme or .cmf
Any idea what the difference is or what is going on?
Thx

When I go to this site and try to download scenarios, all of them have an extension of .cmg
From looking in my scenario directory, it should be .cme or .cmf
Can someone explain this?
Thx

All,
I just got a new computer and loaded up CMBB and CMAK and was wondering where all the websites have gone that hosted scenarios?
I thought I remembered going to to Scenario Depot back a couple of years ago.
Thx

All,
I finally have some free time and sat down to install the game and play and it asks me for an eLicense. Where is that at?
I looked on the book and the cd cover and nothing. I then looked at my email confirmation order and nothing on there either.
Where is it at?
Thx

I am running a very similar setup except my CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo 6700 and I am seeing very poor framerates as well
I am quite disappointed with this game as well so far and plan on waiting and see new games by battlefront before I buy.
