  1. Just post a description of the 'bug' and include pictures if you are able to. When one of the beta testers asks you for a save game file you can then send it to them and they will ensure that the appropriate people see it.

Ok, what is the easiest way to take a screenshot?

I tried using Alt-Prt Scrn, Ctrl-Prt Scrn and just Prt Scrn and nothing works (when I try to paste in mspaint, I just get a black screen)

I would prefer not to install any software just to take screenshots

    Thx

  2. Either use Print Screen and then paste the screenshot to a picture editing program, or use a screen capturing program.

How do you use Print Screen to grab a screenshot?

When I hit print screen (or alt print screen) and paste to mspaint, I just get a black screenshot

    Thx

  3. As above: HUNT = Move to Contact, then stop

Did you know that at each waypoint you can select one of the Combat orders (under the "C" tab in the UI) for each waypoint? Imagine you've plotted a 5 waypoint movement order, a,b,c,d, and of course, e.

Select the first segment, which ends at "a" and open your Combat orders. Perhaps choose TARGET.

Next segment, ending at "b", select TARGET LIGHT

For "c", how about TARGET ARC?

"d" seems like it needs TARGET

"e", the finish, would like a FACE

If you move in an inverted V, start, mid, end; Go FAST, at the mid pause for, oh, 20 seconds with a COVERED ARC, then REVERSE back to the end. Move, shoot, reverse.

    Etc.

    Wow, thanks

I didn't realize this was all possible!!

  4. Not sure if this is in the works (or if it is even possible) but is there any chance BF could patch it so that when you are plotting moves, it tells you (graphically) that the move is going to be replotted around an obstacle?

What I mean is that if you tell a tank to go through a bush, it will tell you that it will drive through whereas if you try to drive through a bocage, it will tell you it is not possible.

I am playing a map where I don't know if the water is deep enough to drive/walk through

    Thx

  5. Panthers were actually fairly common in Normandy. Tigers, on the other hand, were not. Neither were the 76 mounted Shermans for that matter. So yeah, if someone really has a problem with point balancing... play with Rarity enabled. Strict or Loose, it's going to present a better set of choices than with Rarity Off. It's why Rarity exists in the first place :D

    Steve

Can someone give me an idea what the difference between strict and loose?

    Thx

  6. All,

I have a mortar team (5 guys I believe) and there are 2 guys who have the title of mortar ammo bearer.

When I click on them, I do not see any mortars as part of their equipment.

What use are they? Are they actually carrying some of the ammo for the team but don't display it OR do they have no mortars and can be used to scout?

    Thx

  7. I have been playing Iron from day one and the main difference I see is that the enemy icons are generic - it's harder to establish what kind of enemy unit you are facing. C2 works fine for me. You just have to keep your sub-units in contact and use WW2 formations and battle drills.

I could have sworn with Elite the same thing about the icons being generic happens

    Thx
