i,m not sure now but when we went to Norway the mg they had was more or less the same as a mg42.I never heard to many complaints over the m60, must admit i did think our gpmg was the best. The worst was the .30 browning i found it burnt out to easy, one weapon id love to fire again would be the bren gun, excellent piece of kit,though restricted by its magazine it was a good support weapon.

BTS have produced a first rate GAME (notice i,ve put game in caps). this GAME recreates world war two actions. It is not a recreation of anything else that occured at this time. They have enabled it to be be played from either side, lets face it, it would be boring playing just one side. however if you do not want to play as a german (or allied) then dont, Its not compulsory. However WW11 is still for a lot of people fresh, my father lost 2 brothers in the war,and like people in the whole of europe had to suffer terror bombing.Yet whilst serving in the army in germany i met and married a german woman, should i have not because of her familys past?. If people like reading or visiting sites that are about the waffen ss or the battle of stalingrad, is that wrong. No it is not, after all to learn about the mistakes the horror, if these sites/books didnt exist how would we try to ensure that these things didnt happen again. Ive done a scenario regarding a attempt to capture himmler (hypothetical) using the chateau map from the asl board. Basically as yanks u have to capture himmler (represented by a battalion figure) and hold the chateau for intelligence purposes. Lots of reinforcements both sides (if your lucky),i screwed the briefing bit up but if u like to give it a go,tell us.

well its bound to happen,if you look on the boards we,ve had a discussion about someone getting a warez copy,all it takes is someone to buy it ,then then abuse the system and either warez or rip it off. BTS have done a fine job on this game,all for scumbag kid to warez it or some pirate to flog it off. To all of you who say well it dont matter or he is a kid,that $1 copy means that BTS take cm2 longer to do, if it carrys on then BTS may not be able to do a next version. i too have a p11 233 with banshee card,after loading version 1 ,the game is still ok,maybe youve d/loaded into wrong spot? the only thing wrong ive had is waiting when playing large scenarios like the sherbrooke fusiliers
