  1. My reply was meant tongue in cheek so no offence. It's kinda hard to get that across without a smilie and as a battered survivor of a "penging" I am wary of using the little suckers. A few tinnies is a top idea simon, it's about that time of day here now too.

  2. You guy's crack me up, this has been a most entertaining thread. Keep up the good work. I don't want to see anymore about CM on this board from now on. Please keep all post's limited to name calling, racial taunts, bigotry and various personal interpretations of history.

This is how wars start, bickering between 2 parties starts to drag in outsiders until we are all taking shots at each other. Cool!!

By the way I have no leanings towards either British/Irish or israel/palestine so you can't pick on me for that.

There, I feel better now, on with the battle!!

  3. Read my profile, when I say home brew genius I'm not kidding.

I prefer it to commercial beers, except in the summer when a nice corona with a slice of lemon is nice and refreshing.

However if I'm on the spirits then wild turkey bourbon is the go. It makes me nasty and want to kill lots of little pixellated soldiers. smile.gif

  4. Captain, now I'm not saying that cheating is clever or funny. But if you are really desperate a guy I know types out his notes in word size 12 and then photocopies them twice at 50% reduction which gets them small enough to hide under the palm of a hand but still large enough to read (apparantly). Still, by the time you've done all that you'll probably find you can recall the notes anyway. Plus you won't get the same warm, fuzzy feeling if you don't pass the exam all by yourself. Try to think of the embarressment if you get busted redface.gifredface.gif

So try to avoid it if you can , an honest pass beats a dishonest credit anyday....

  5. My uncle was at school in Townsville during WW2 just after the bombing of darwin. The school would have air raid drills where the teachers would march the students to the shelters in a calm, orderly fashion, doing the roll call etc, etc.

This one day the heat was so intense it shorted the alarm system and the sirens went off without warning.

You guessed it , the first ones out the doors and in the shelters were the teachers!!! Students, what students?!!

    Makes me laugh anyway.

  6. Wow Guys!

I'm totally blown away by the responses to my post. You've given me more honest, valuable information than I could have got by talking to a dozen computer salesmen.I now have some genuine advice which I can use when I go shopping for my upgrades. If there was a smilie for emotional tears of gratitude I reckon I'd use it now....

    Thanks heaps
