Not only can you push vehicles, but you'll notice they keep moving for a while if they get ko'd while moving. Full physics model. Shame CM doesn't simulate recovery tanks, which were used to drag cripples off the battlefield.

Actually, there are two 5-star, fully 3D strategy games: Myth, the fallen Lords and Myth II soulblighter. The camera is in some ways better than CM's and units are fully 3D as well. Can someone inform me what the "32 H, 5 P, 6 S"etc I see in a unit's ammo bar mean? How many different types are there? Do you get white phosphorus rounds? I can't think of anything better on Reisburg than to chuck a few phosphorus rounds into the 88's foxholes.

This sounds like a great weapon. I am an expert in shooting *at* chickens, but only with my potato mortar. Maybe I should build a chicken mortar and shoot it at potatoes instead. Does CM include the MG 34 machine gun, or just the '42? I believe both these weapons were used on the western front, and they were quite different, although used in similar ways. The MG 34 was mounted on both tripods and bipods for infantry support and as a lmg. Main difference with the 42 was the 34 fed off a clip. I posted this once before, but I goofed and called it the MG 38, so I had to ask again.

Get the iBook! I'm a longtime Mac user, and I would never go back to peecees. Yes, you can use any mouse or keyboard, including pc ones, as long as their usb. There are 3 browsers that will run, IE, Netscape, and iCab, a little one that doesn't use much RAM. CM works great on the mac, but beware, the 12" screen may not be good enough for you, I don't know. Does anyone have any information on the Riesing submachine gun? My greatuncle, a former marine in the pacific, says he carried one, and it was the "worst jamming gun he ever saw." I have been unable to find any information on this weapon. Is it just another name for the Grease Gun? Was it used in the ETO?

Citizen Soldiers was actually a pretty good history of the fighting in Europe. In a later printing, the "Panthers with 88s" error was corrected. Your tape must be off the first version.

Will CM come with a level creator or editor? I'd love to be able to make my own maps and scenerios, especially if I could take topographical maps of the area where I live and make maps from them.

Both the Germans and Russians had rocket batteries that they used as artillery. The german version was the Nebelwerfer, and the Russians had the Katushuya. These were mostly fired in batteries. I don't know if they ever mounted these on vehicles as self propelled arty or not. It probably wouldn't have been really effective, because a conventional gun would have been far more accurate, and take up less room in a vehicle than a number of rockets.

Why are tank and halftrack crews in CM only equipped with pistols? In real life, I know some of the crewmen would have had submachineguns. The German MP 38/MP 40 was origionally developed for use by armored vehicle and tank crews, to be fired out of hatches or view ports. For the Americans, the basic tanker's weapon was the Grease Gun, or the Thompson if they could get it, but this is not simulated in CM. Is it to make vehicle crews almost totally useless when they abandon their vehicle?

What is the best way to use my tank destroyers to battle tanks? Should I move and dodge fire, or am I best off sitting still and slugging it out? I'll try to knock out a tiger with 3 Hellcat TDs, and lose all of them, with no real damage to the tiger. What can I do to improve this?
