I was trying to see if I could sustitute a recording of PanzerLeid for the taps at the AAR screen. iirc Wav. 0000129. I have it in both .aiff and MP3. I am installing on a Mac btw.
When I loaded it as a wav file, it plays , but v..........e..........r...........y........... s..............l.............o.............w.........l............y. I am using a program to convert them, but what settings should the wav file be set for.

Unfortunetly, I do not think they are going to do it for either CMBO or CMBB. We can only hope for CM2 re write and switch back to classic (ducks)

In other news There Can Be Only One Challenge which seems to be almost as old as the MBT, after draws too numerous to count seems to be coming to a close.
Maximus' command to Unleash Hell occurred this turn. Seanachai's men scream in terror and run directly into the barbed wire where I am afraid history repeats (it is Baugeuz - read Malmedy). His attempt to use Vietnamese Buddhist monks as a 'stiffener' seems to hit a snag as they seemd to have self imolated.
True, scattered about are individual bits of heroism, leavened unfortunelty with too many 'bits' of other things.......

What people always seem to forget that Peng is a concept. MrPeng was kidnapped and has been held against his will, mewling to be given the final release, Yet it always denied. His dearest wish is that it all jsut go away, but then like a growing pustule it consumes all around, including poor Peng. He has even at one time renounced the moniker and has repeatedly disowned the MBT, but I am afraid there are copyright ™ problems

Also remeber that in RL™ the panzergrenadiers would dismount and attack on foot. For the scale of CMBB battles, it might be a bit unrealsitic to have the transport near the objective.

I think the best advice (which I keep reminding myself) is think Real World™ What would you actually do in such a situation. Actual military tactics work. Game style play doesn't. Establishing a fire base with suppressing fire works alot better than just running your guys across an open field.
Following the line of the hills to stay out of sight, things like that will reward you. Learn that use of smoke is your friend, planes even your own often are not.
Take little steps, read some history about small unit tactics. A good set of primers is the Battlefront Bookshelf

On my Mac Stuffit seemed to work okay for me on some .rar files, proabably was 7.0. iirc I had to maually launch as they did not iniially open automatically.

He sports naked about the woods, no doubt conducting Satanic Druidic ruitals to Berli (fat chance that'll help him) while my faithful and loyal cannon fodder soak up the Stoli.
AquaP and I are still trying to figure out if his retrograde advance is taking him any where. That and both of us being so befuddled as not to be able to figure out who owes who a file. For a while he forced me to become a non numbering file git.
