Though I understand a little delay for overseas shipping is easy to forgive, I can not help being extremely pissed off. Spain is CMless so far. I should add I am a Mac user, so Soldier of Fortune, Deus Ex and all those wonderful Mac titles are not to come in less than a month. Total victory with the Americans at my first try! Only 12 KIA and a Sherman (75) lost to a minefield (abandoned, the crew is safe) I'm trying to do it again, but this time I'll try to keep the village standing. At the end of my game, Sigfried line was a damned hole in the ground... The last hill was taken with little resistance by three infantry squads running about 300m uphill! The guys up there surrendered without even firing... I would post an AAR, but it would be far too long and enthusiastic! Let's try the Germans anyway

I have a 56k modem, and I have to say I never thought anything would be worth a 2 hours download. It turns out it was worth it after all... I liked the Beta demo a lot, but the gold demo is by far the most impressive piece of gaming I have ever seen... I'm glad I pre-ordered. I just can't wait for the full version... P.S: hey, we have dead bodies after all!

Excuse me, Diablo II fans... but I can't quite find it an interesting game at all. Diablo 1 was a hit, and I still don't understand how a "Click here to move/click there to kill people" game had such a success... Of course, Diablo II graphics are pretty good, but I don't find it deep enough to be a RPG, nor fast enough to be an action game. So what's the good stuff about it anyway?

BlackSabot, Do you mean the PC version of the Beta demo? As the fellow Mac user and Scots net sailor I am, I promessed to reply to any distress call from other fellow sailors with all speed. But it turns out that I was going to download the Mac version only... Anyway, if I have ADSL installed by then (it's supposed to be installed in about two weeks) it will be a pleasure to download the PC version and e-mail it to you. And thank god there are no Spanish troops in CM! I have been living in Spain for a hell of a long time, and getting up early is not what I could call a custom in here. It is not that they would fight worse at sunrise, it is that they just wouldn't be there! And then we can add ye olde and mighty 'siesta' after lunch...
