  2. but just imagine... if 1C made the renderer in TOW use the same contrast values as Flintlock's screenshots... plus AA and FSAA settings.. shouldn't be hard, even FarCry has different rendering settings you can choose from in the games video options The contrast in Flinlock's screenshots gives it a HDR lighting look
  3. game doesn't turn on Anti-aliasing and Ansio filtering - so you have to do it manually in the video card properties panel

  5. my fav so far - it has a nice vibe to it plus the unsharp mask and contrast boost you added gives it a HDR look
  6. Wouldn't be hard to mod the demo, missions are XML files I might try not putting my infantry I trenches, kinda too obvious....for arty strikes...

  9. P4 2.8c o/c to 3.1g, 1 gig ram, Gainward 7800GS+ (7900GT in AGp) 1152x864 tutes run ok - 20 fps average but gets down to 7-15 in the main mission.. I turned EAX off in the sound panel, my soundcard doesn't have have EAX accleration and that picked things up in the tutes, up to 25-30fps have to test the main mission now
  10. Ausgamer worked fine for me - 500+k a sec only use one download thread though, because they shut down people who try and leech with more than one..

  14. this is how loud the tanks in TOW should be! that deep rumble is missing and overall not loud enough although these vehicles don't sound like that, but the camera mic might not be so crash hot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHv6pa-6Jig&NR=1 I like all the pops and clacks.   15. I actually noticed you can hear the distant Arty guns fire before the shells then land a short time afterwards - a neat touch :cool: plus nice ambience on the explosions, reminds me of the great explosion soundFX in COH
  16. Mg42 could also be made louder, it sounds much quieter than the other weapon sounds especially when the camera was locked onto the halftrack, way too quiet! If you made the outside vehicle sound the same loudness as the locked on vehicle cam sound, and then made the locked on cam vehicle sound a bit louder still then that looks to be about right
  17. sounds good but I think the vehicle engines/sounds could be a bit louder relatively speaking. Vehicle roar and exhausts are quite a bit louder and deeper in real life!
