Hey "Snipers" and "sharpshooters" have been discussed quite a bit. Just do a serch on those keywords. And yes they are in.A sharpshooter is even in one of the demo scenarios. OK, don't laugh but a question. I hate for my squads to fire at long range. But they only way i can keep them from doing this is hiding them. Umm... for the record.. Amiga's kicked ass! And I agree with Madmatt.. Running the Mac's on our network here and getting it done right. Is a big pain in the butt. It all boils down to what I've held was true for a long time. For Gaming nothing beats a PC. If your into publishing get yourself a mac. OH, one further note... People complain about the old bill gates and his monopoly... Well, Mac wouldn't be in this mess if they weren't such a Monopoly with their hardware. Humm... I'm only 31 and i played a lot of sniper. It was a great Game. We played a version of it here on a BBS in Winston a long time ago. We called it patrol there. Great Memories! I'm surprised anyone else has played it here though. As for the Cm engine handleing it... I think it is really off scale. What would be better is if someone took "Soldiers at war" and polished it. This info is for new PBEM people mostly. Tobruk uses this and it worked great in our PBEM game. Rename the file so that it is diffrent. example Last defense to Lorak turn 1 LD to LOR 01.txt return to Tobruk went LD to TOB 01.txt Made it real easy to keep up with. umm, on multi-player net play. You should try Rogue spear. If you play tango hunt. then you have no choice but to work together. And a good game host will boot the trouble makers too. well.. tonights Chat went very well. Had a Decent turn out considering it was on short notice.Quite a few suggested making it an ongoing thing. So here it is. Everynight at 9:00pm est ,several of us will try to gather there. Makes for some good fun. Also feel free to use the other features. Some of you don't have web sites, So if you want to throw some pictures out there for people feel free to post them in the Club photo album. Or create your own in there. humm... games i buy. well I'm a mix and match kind of guy. 1)WW2 games(all kinds) from CM,CC,soldiers at war,ect.. 2)Role playing games.(not much on hack and slash, i like thinking)balders gate. 3)FPS. Hello. I have a friend here whos grandfather was in the 42nd Highland regiment "the black watch". I've been helping him look for some good info on this unit. and was wondering if any of ya'll (yes southern) had any ideas? Lorak P.S. for the beta testers. Are the highland units seperate in the game? or just a part of the British army.
