  1. Ok thanks. That's all I wanted to know, they should take whatever time is necessary. Marcus
  2. I have an even better suggestion. How about everyone stops complaining about anything? Complaining about complainers doesn't really improve the mood here. Friendly suggestions and questions is one thing but the constant venom is tiresome. It belongs on Usenet . Marcus
  3. Not to forget that there are more Linux installations than Mac:s for which there's a CM. Plus it's growing every month. Marcus
  4. Where did you get that idea? IBM wouldn't have invested 300 million USD in Linux if they didn't want to make some cash. Borland is soon releasing Kylix for Linux. Some games available for Linux -Jagged Alliance 2 -Civilisation Call to Power More to come And btw if you download copyrighted software without paying you are still a pirate no matter what. Marcus
  5. I think those present at the telia ASL page are great. Some are too hard but I stil love them . Marcus
  6. I still think the ASL scenarios are great. It's really fun to see those boards come alive. One thing I would like for CM2 is the ability to merge 2 maps. Now you have to start from scratch if you want to merge maps 12 and 13 (as an example) Marcus
  7. My 2 öre on the subject. These bad vibe threads are really bringing down the mood of this forum. I think BTS should be faster to lock up these threads. (like they did today for instance). You can generally sence where the thread is heading from the first post. In addition they should delete the threads completelly to make the board easier to read. I want the friendly tone that was here before the release back. Marcus
  8. I saw that combathq has some German,US and other tunes. I wonder if there's something similar for Russian WW2 tunes? So far I've found Katyusha which is fantastic to listen to while playing (yeah I know wrong front). Is there anything else (legal) connected tot he war one can find? I was thinking of buying some of those Red Army choir cd:s. Thanks in advance Marcus
  9. Still waiting for CM2 where I hopefully can hear Finns say "Perkele" in the typical Finnish way ) Marcus
  10. Thanx alot Tommi, My grandfathers brother fought as a cpt somwhere in that regiment. This is why I was interested . Marcus
  11. I don't know if it's cheating but I made my working colleagues who doesn't play games at all vote. Some solidarity Marcus
  12. Just wondering. What differs this from the CMMC hosted by the CMHQ? I don't want to involve myself too much and thereby making someone dissapointed. Marcus
  13. The Basques also play bagpipes. There's one guy now with an album. He sells alot apparently (at least according to the commersials). Bagpipe virtuousos, how many are there really? Marcus
  14. I also want bagpipes when playing with Scottish forces. One option/idea I came up with was to include an ambient sound in the scenario editor. One could add various music/sounds depending on front. The Russian equivalent would be lots of harmonicas and balalaikas . The Germans could use some umpha music from Bavaria. Marcus
