    Maybe Germany would have won the war hadn't Hitler diverted panzergruppe Guderian to the South to encircle Kiev.

    The offensive against Moscow was delayed for almost one month, and Hitler lost the only big gamble he had to win the war.

    Moscow was important not only for political rreasons, but it was the most important communication centre in the Soviet Union.

    Anthrax and CM:BB

    Hope I will not seem ridiculous redface.gif , but

    unfortunately the US Postal Service was recently contaminated by malicious anthrax letters, especially in the Eastern Coast area.

    In order to facilitate the work of decontamination and to avoid spreading infection, I think that, if an alternative secure method to Postal Service exists, it is good to use it.

    So, in addition to sending CM:BB disks to customers, why not making possible to download CM:BB from the Net at least for fast-connected users?…obviously not for free

    As I pointed out in a previous post of mine, I think that in an Allied attacking QB 2000 points, Allies are strongly favoured.

    Here my statistics of 23 games in the RD ladder:

    as Allies I won 10, draw 1 lost 1

    as Axis I won 3, draw 3 lost 5

    I think these statistics are self-explanatory :cool:

    AT guns too easy to destroy?

    I think that AT guns are too easy to destroy. For example, in a recent game of mine my 75 AT gun started a duel with 4 Shermans at 500mts (err…I was in a desperate situation).

    Result:

    - AT gun shoots and misses

    - AT gun shoots and knocks down 1 Sherman

    - 2 HE rounds from Shermans near the AT gun (<5mts), AT gun pinned

    - Shermans go on pounding the AT gun position

    - after 40 secs from start of duel AT gun knocked out

    Well I think that AT guns are too easily targeted!

    This will certainly impair the German tactics used in The Western Desert or Operation Barbarossa, using 88 AA guns in the rear to counter Matilda’s or T34’s,KVI’s.
