  1. An encouraging report from the Graivoron where our glorious forces have destroyed and driven off the terrorist saboteurs.
  2. I've not seen this before. "This footage released by the 3rd Assault Brigade of Ukraine reportedly shows troops from the 1st Assault Battalion attacking Russian positions near Bakhmut". 3. Real? Having russian refugees displaced inside russia is going to be a real headache for the regime me thinks
  4. Linked on Ilija Ponomarenko's feed - I have no idea what this really is, if it's 'real' or just epic trolling - stay tuned I suppose
  5. More Cyclops strong point footage. UKR repel a pretty half arsed counter attack. What are the slow moving projectiles - RPG rounds?
  6. Indeed. I very much hope this is true, especially the bolded section. Cherevaty stated on May 18 that Ukrainian forces regained the battlefield initiative and are forcing Russian forces to respond to Ukrainian actions, including by transferring Russian Airborne (VDV) elements to Bakhmut’s flanks to defend against the Ukrainian advances.[4] Malyar stated that Russian forces have deployed most of their reserves to the Bakhmut area, very likely to the detriment of other areas of the frontline.[5] ISW recently assessed that the Russian military command is reallocating military assets to the Bakhmut area in order to augment Wagner’s offensive capabilities and to gain a tactical victory ahead of a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
  7. A lot of crowing going on over the fence about how much of Bakhmut is under RU control - 98% is their current statistic. Like we were talking about the other day, the 'mighty' russian army reduced to a war of inches.
  8. Footage from a three man team doing a short recce mission. They don't run into the enemy but there's obviously a lot of fighting going on.
  9. 20 minutes of footage from recent advance around Bahkmut - reporting, interviews and some go-pro (no sub's unfortunately). Most of the go-pro starts around the 11min mark. Looks like a dismounted UKR vehicle crew falling back at around 13:30? RU POW at 16min.
  10. Any truth to this? First I've seen of it.
  11. As discussed up thread, I was thinking the other day watching the Ukrainians trying to flush the RU men out of the Cyclops bunker they needed molotovs or something similar to set the thing of fire/smoke them out. Tweet below has example of makeshift drone dropped incendiary grenades being used by another unit. It's restricted so I'll just post a link. https://twitter.com/PaulJawin/status/1658361918531272704
  12. This would be a great result if it's correct. Btw... Ahh, what exactly is a SuperCum?
  13. In depth interview with UKR infantrymen commenting on their involvement in trench clearing action, all of which was recorded by drones and their go-pro's. Auto-translate works on this one.
  14. Browsing the twitters this morning, I'm getting the sense there's an uptick in ammo and logistics strikes going on. Quite a few small ones yesterday and a big one somewhere in Luhansk in the past few hours apparently.
  15. From todays ISW I take this to mean that they are very much ready to panic and it'll only take a little nudge to start it off.
  16. It's a little surprising to me that that many survived and were able to get away, in the open, looking relatively unscathed (probably not in the best shape) . Would have been nice if the UKR men could have had some support from the flank, it looked like everything was going in the straight line following the trench. A tough job.
  17. Definitely. The once "mighty" russian army reduced to a war of inches, for months on end. If UKR can roll them up with several units with 2-3 tanks each it would be a real punch in the face. Fingers crossed they can pull it off.
  18. Could well be. Zoom the map out just a bit and those arrows are tiny. Part 4 of the "Cyclops" trenchline footage was just released. Note the 18+ rating (thankfully it's not overly gruesome)
  19. I disagree with this statement. Repeated observation and study is very often how all manner of things are discovered and/or determined. I very much doubt the people who post here fall into the characterisations you mention. This thread covers both the macro and micro of this conflict. The ubiquitous coverage is something I think none of us have been exposed to previously and lends itself a great deal to the discussion of the smallest details and then how these details fit together to build a bigger picture.
  20. Any more details on this? It's more than one vehicle, looks like 2 maybe 3 burning YPR's. Brave of that last one to stop and pick up wounded next to the first one hit.
