  1. Gepard dropping a (or perhaps 2?) Shahed drone in the dark. Shahed taken down near Odesa by search light and small arms - clip looks like something from WW2
  2. Something good to hear said and reported on as far as the US political front goes.
  3. Hover over the user's name or picture for a second for the profile menu to come up. Ignore is at the bottom right.
  4. Another long twitter thread detailing a pretty grim picture of life at the front for mobilised RU men.
  5. For contrast, Zelensky again near the front meeting the troops. Whilst it is all well stage managed the troops are armed and in full (admittedly clean) battle gear.
  6. Bummer if correct. I hope/trust the crew is ok. Caption on this tweet is
  7. Couple of encouraging tweet threads. Second one has clips to back up their claims for geo location of RU shelling their own trench line.
  8. The second post below is a longer version of the first clip whcih we saw yesterday of retreating RU troops being shelled (including cluster rounds) and hit with an FPV drone. Pretty grim and gives a better picture of the number of men on the move.
  9. Interesting clip - looks like RU attack helo chasing and firing it's gun at a UKR drone. Caption says is Crimea, looks like it's over water. I was hopeful that the fast moving thing coming from the right towards the end was a SAM but it's only the operator'ss mouse pointer Thread detailing of each of the 26 Bradley's lost thus far, based on the work of the Oryx team. And this is dark humour or maybe karma. Looks like two guys having an fight, it doesn't end well.
  10. I saw a similar post on Dmitri's twitter (the wartranslated guy) a couple of days ago. Clip is an ex Wagner man in a wheel chair who is now homeless and can't get treatment or any sort of support.
  11. Anonymous sources have been quoted as saying...
  12. Who knows. They're the ones doing the fighting, I'm pretty sure they're more experienced at it than any of us. Speaking of ye olde things, there's a short clip from one of these guys where you see him step over a Mosin-Nagant in the dirt as he moves through a trench.
  13. Chosen Company doing a trench assault. Unit is foreign volunteers serving with the 59th Motorized Brigade. There's been a few clips recently from Ryan O'Leary who is with this unit (the one where the RU man ran back into his trench and then ran away again). There's nothing graphic besides an aussie's colourful language. Is quite a change hearing people communicating all in English. I think this is the original upload which is age restricted - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eji0u88nIoc
  14. Some armour in action I think the emblem is the 3rd Assault Brigade which has been operating north of Bakhmut from memory. Looks like a grad strike or two at towards the end as well.
  15. Post says this is a pair of UKR T series tanks doing shoot and scoot. One is very nearly hit by return fire at the 1:30 mark. Thankfully they both appear to bug out successfully. Posting as a link because all these tweets are flagged as restricted. There's nothing R18+ in this one. https://twitter.com/i/status/1695494020015726875
  16. Post says they got behind RU lines and retreating troops then ran into them. Lots of confusion. If you read the thread I get the impression the retreating RU troops didn't realise they were running into a UKR unit that had got in behind them.
  17. I'm not a fan of Erdogan but this is nice to see
  18. Interesting, looks like UKR has a new wonder weapon
  19. Volunteered? I'm inclined to think UKR simply paid some poor bastard to haul a load of cargo in his truck. Would the GRU have any scruples paying a russian driver to do that?
  20. More today from ISW re low RU morale and supply. There's also an interesting paragraph on machinations within the Kremlin. https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-august-21-2023
  21. Example of caustic relations back home - something else to sap morale.
  22. Some more interesting than usual comments on ISW in relation to fractures within Wagner and rear area strikes degrading RU morale and capabilities. Worth perusing until the end where there's claimed to be a shortage of tires and parts for the RU trucks and details of various things supplied secretly by China. https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-august-20-2023
  23. Some pics said to be relating to the Kerch bridge truck bomb op
