Sorry I mean creating operations. I would like to set up the units in specific locations.

Hi Guys! Have completed two or three operations and was wondering is it possible to set up the initial setup off ALL units so the Human and computer opponent must use the setup unless it is deactivated before the start-up of the game. I cant see how you can do this in a operation. It appears you can only make up the setup area/zone and not place individual units.. I must be doing something wrong please help!!

I guys in the Hamilton area and had a buddy order via the US (NY) and have had the game for a few days. Its great. If you want give me a e-mail and your welcome to pop over and have a hot seat game.....Ill make sure the wife isn't home!! I'm in the dog house for calling in sick for work

Thanks Steve! However is there no limit as to the number of days that the operation can take place? Is it over once you reached a maximum of 20 battles?

Did a search but found conflicting answers concerning operations.... 1) how many battles can you have 2) over what maximum amount of time do operations take place ie. 10 days? Thanks

Ditto from me too!! Is the manual going to be set up as one of the primary barriers to copying the program. Something like the old SSI games.....you know the word on page 4 paragraph 5 is etc... I think it would at least add some difficulties to the pirate to have to copy/scan in a 180 odd page manual. Besides the vast majority of the people that wargame are more honour bound than any other category of gamers. If that doesn't work I will have some CLOSE friends in the commercial crime unit come visit you My two cents.......

Lets all hope the MANUALS arrive on Monday so BTS can start shipping on the 14th!!!

I know BTS we are always bugging you guys but its so hard to wait sometimes...... Due to the delay in the manuel, when do you anticipate shipping to commence. Of course assuming there are no further unforseen delays. Thanks PS Bad news it better than no news

I agree, but at least maybe a german cross, certainly not any Nazi crap or anything. I think it would be an insult to some of the dead tankers buried/cremated there to have any waffen SS stuff/markings on the grounds. I think the flak tank...hmm labled Oswind (sp??) should have been a Whirlwind(sp) as it had the quad 20's.....I think anyways.

I agree, another scenario would be nice since the release seems to delayed until maybe as late as June 15th ranther than the anticipated release of end of May(damn manuel It would help make the wait a little easier. Even if the force compositions where ajusted slightly. My two cents......

I have a friend who is an excellent wargamer, however often he takes the game a little to serious! If he starts to lose he gets very quiet and if defeated he can get a little nasty. I thought it would be great if instead of head to head wargaming is it possible to have say two allied players versus the AI -axis. Might help my buddy from getting very moody sometimes Any possibilities of having say several players (ie company commanders) of a Battalion vs another? I think it would be neat to have the battalion commander issuing orders say via e-mail or ICQ (better yet headset style/mic) and the company commanders carrying out his orders. Maybe in CM2? Just a thought......

Thanks for the info went on Saturday afternoon......went through 2 rolls of film. Luv the panther, too bad they dont paint them up a little more. Field grey, with no national or unit characteristics is a little boring. It was very impressive to see the Sherman mine clearing tank. Not sure if this tank is included or was it the Churchill crab that was included, oh well have to check I guess. Can hardly wait till the Hertzer is fully operational, now that would be a treat! My friends (fellow CM addicts) had a great time!!

Oh well I take it June 6th will not be the date we where hoping for.....

Does anyone know any details of the operations? Where they take place, dates or units? Was the maximum number of battles in a opertion, 10?

Thank You For the update...... Sorry for getting you all upset Maximus. Since CM is so unique and a limited market I personally would have no problem paying for a Multi Player patch/add-on. Just my two cents
