My tips.
1. If you are playing like you did in CMBO, stop that immediately.
2. If you are still playing like you did in CMBO and you play tournaments, I hope I draw YOU as my opponent.
3. If you cherry pick for a QB INF ONLY battle and you buy no artillery or 81mm mortars, you are halfway to losing because your enemy will.
4. Fast is your new friend in infantry movements except when you should have used something else.
5. If you have played the full game for 4 days and think you have seen it all, wait 15 minutes.
6. The GTZ (Grammont Time Zone) was the model for the Space Time Continuum in Star Trek.
7. MG42's are wicked and your pixeltruppen really dont like running straight at them. But mostly they dont last long enough to complain about it.
8. When running in an open field, try to find craters or depressions to hunker down and suppress enemy fire with one squad while your other squads run across.

Well even guys behind the scenes would LOVE Israeli units. But unless there's a game with the IDF vs Islamic Republic this wont happen. If it was a game with US and French, I would be just as happy to go against France as whomever they select!

Any game where you guys think about playing for 4 hours as opposed to spending 4 hours thinking about Megan Fox and Jessica Alba together must not be all that bad.

Look at it this way. Did you have fun playing 4 hours? Then you played it in the proper time. The beauty of WEGO is that you can go back and look at what every unit is doing, play, replay, replay again, get coffee, replay, go rob a bank, replay, have sex with Megan Fox (and Jessica Alba woohoo), replay. Then you can do it all over again (especially Miss Fox and Alba).
When I play real-time I sometimes wish I had played WEGO because I know I missed something important.

I was just making a joke. I must say though that this is the only board in the gaming world that would let you talk so much bad shiet about a game. Steve while you think he's crass and rude, is actually a really tolerant guy. I mean the stuff that has been thrown at him in the last years (including me lol) would make you seriously change your view on him. I know a lot of us on the beta team would gear up, board the chopper, and go do an op in Afghanistan if Steve was kidnapped by the Taliban. So you can only guess why we defend him and his game here right?
But calm down. If you dont like the game he has given you an out. But you will regret it because even Steve knows the game isnt perfect (gasp) and no company around wants their games to be as good as BFC (thats a fact).

Did you know that at the last minute we all had a discussion behind the scenes targeting you with this monumental bug so you could come to our rescue. We figured it would take you 3 days to totally squash these bugs. You sir have failed but I know its only because you are working on a CM killer.
I am now in the process of writing a scathing resignation letter to Battlefront and hope that you and I can design a better game in the coming weeks. We will have movement by mental telepathy and a super jump hack to leap these silly bocage thingys so that we ensure the Allies win every battle. Steve always said this wouldnt be realistic. We will show him how much it Roxzors!

Why are you guys trying to turn CMBN into Starcraft in the first place? Isnt that kind of the reason you like CM games?
But CMBN is what it is. I wish they could put everything in for everyone, but hey, this isnt Blizzard. Infact, I seem to remember Blizzard changed some stuff in SC2 and how well did that go over? Oh ya, not as well considering people still play SC1 over SC2.
But I am gonna now tell you guys something as well about behind the scenes at BFC. When the testers or staff want something to be changed or fixed or what we have deemed as cant live unless it's this way, we dont lash out at Charles, dont call each other names, dont disrespect the people who have more weight in getting it done. We ask like adults, we argue our points, we get a response, we live with the results. Not even Steve gets all his suggestions or wants from Charles.

You all can thank MikeyD for the interior detail. No idea if he did them, but if we could show you the internal threads, he sure noticed a lot of stuff that wasnt as right as he thought it should be.

Ah, there's your problem right there. There's no shame in playing the inexperienced levels, especially when you're inexperienced. You've been playing the game for less than 24 hours so far.
I play on warrior by default. Its the best mix of fun and realism IMHO. I still lose or eek out slim victories regularly.
