K9crump
Whats even worse is when you actually hit one, and it doesnt do anything... Mike
tankibanki
Does anyone know if the marksmanship skill is relevant for PzF and Grenades? Maybe that's the problem?
Flanker15
Yep I noted that aswell, the PzF has a very high arc so if your close it might overshoot the target.
KiloAlpha4
thought it said gunnery skill in manual for heavy weapons ? have to check that again...
tankibanki
Oops, there it shows again, I haven't read the manual, yet.
iplaygames2
My fausts can't hit a halftrack either. Anywhere from 20-100m, I haven't scored a hit yet. With 2 Pzfausts firing.
Pascal DI FOLCO
First model of PzFaust had something like 30m range (in 43). Then it was upgraded to 60 then 100m max. Anyway it was a pretty crude weapon : a rocket on top of a stick, no targetting mechanism, and very bad precision. It's not that weird that your 40m shots did miss, even less if the guy had a bad skill level. But I don't know which one is used for PzF... seppDieter
panzerfausts did have sights on them to aim on target! they were dead simple to use, and verry accurate up to 60 meters, but goes to 120m... i don't see an reason why that guy would have missed such easy shots... John Kelly
The slope of the T34/76 was sufficient to disrupt the Munroe effect. That means the shaped charge may not have time to form properly because of the angle. It did happen, but I don't know if the game is attempting to simulate that phenomenon, or whether it's just a bug. John
seppDieter
as long as the front of the faust patrone hits something hard it wil blow up, the only thing stopping it from penetrating the armor would be that the hollow charge of the faust would not be pointed toward the armor, and thus blowing up on the tank but without doing any damage

But I have also seen them miss what seem like relatively easy shots. Just wondering.
