Imperial Grunt
That looks good...what was the range to target?
poesel
Ok, I know, I repeat myself, but still... The sniper ammo is HEAT so its penetration is NOT depending on distance, only on angle of attack (which is my biggest gripe I have with the sniper). Redcon-5
Ok you guys wanted a 2000m missle you got it. It flys like a catapulted wet brick but launched flat it will only go 2000m

I thouht the HV stood for "hyper-velocity", implying that the round has something like a DU penetrator to get through armor, hence the high ricochet factor. A HEAT round would not bounce off, but detonate. My wish is for a sniper round that is HV but has a HE effect against interior components. Paladin tires, deployable turrets, the rear armor of Apollos and Paladins should be very vulnerable. Side armor should take 4-5 good hits to kill a Apollo or Paladin. And a Thor is only vulnerable to a direct shot to the back of the turret, however the back 1/3 or so of the side of the turret should be vulnerable to multiple shots. Just my 2 cents...
