MtTodd
I would be most grateful if you could help me with the following:- When I attempt to start the game from the main menu I get the message- 'Searching for senarios' and then the game returns to the desk top and ends. I have looked at the mesage board but cannot find anythink similar to help me. I have the following system- - Windows 98 (4.10, Build 2222) - Intel Pentium III, 450MHz - 3Dfx16v3.drv main driver - DirectX 8.0 I can run CM 1 with no problems. Look forward to hearing from anyone.
Bone_Vulture
This might be an issue of memory capacity. How much RAM / free hard drive space do you have?
Wicky
Try looking at the Topic: 'game won't run' currently 2nd from bottom for a potential answer.
Schrullenhaft
I believe it is an issue of the video card you're using, which appears to be a 3dfx Voodoo. The topic starter in this thread had a similar problem. Apparently he found a 3rd Party Voodoo driver (I'm not sure which Voodoo card he had) which solved the problem. You can get 3rd Party drivers (drivers that are modified or combined by people who aren't the original developers) from Voodoo Files (click on 'Drivers' on the left hand menu > '3dfx Drivers (3rd Party)' > browse for a driver, making note of which Voodoo it's for and what OS).
MtTodd
Thanks for every one's help. It seems the problem was due to the Voodoo driver. I reinstalled my driver, and it then worked!?
