Rabelesius
Hi, I could not find information about besieging. I gather that only fortresses can be besieged. What are the requirements and how does besieging work? I get the message that a garrison/fortress is under siege (can't remember the exact wording)... Hubert Cater
To confirm, despite some of the popups that are added for flavour, there is no direct mechanism and combat against a fortress is much like any other combat in the game.
Bill101
Hi Having 4-5 units around an enemy held fortress will cause the garrison's morale to be reduced slightly. This is what is happening when the fortress is under siege, as the Siege events represent the interdiction of supply to the fortress. It won't be enough to make the fortress yours, but after a few turns the defender will be slightly easier to defeat, especially if you have some Heavy Artillery who can pound the target first. Hubert Cater
Oops! Bill is right, I was thinking of the WWII campaign where I don't believe we have this in place.
