Since then mucho problems with CM, namely: lockups and graphical corruptions like dropouts- white or black inch square chunks or text fragments from the menu. My other programs run more or less OK. Any ideas? My system: PII350 128 Ram Diamond Stealth540 32mb (latest W98 drivers) Intellimouse Explorer (hmmmm...) Guest rune Posted September 20, 2000 Share Posted September 20, 2000 I have no problem with Windows ME, however first thing to check is the version of your video driver. It may not be the latest. If so, then there is a newer reference driver for Win9x (which supposedly should work under Windows ME). The problem with using the Reference driver (other than it may not work) is that you will lose your Diamond control panels (which will be replaced with S3 Savage 4 control panels). Have been playing CM a lot since installing WMe and have come across the usual 3dfx bug once, but that is about it.
