weird time problem

Recommended Posts

everything works fine but when watching the 60seconds combat i have to watch it from start to finish cos' if i try to fast forward the "time" bar reads something stupid like -2701 and so i ahve to go back to the start and watch it all which is very annoying.

I just brought the game from cdv and b4 i used the demo and i had no-such problems. Anyone got any solutions help will be appreciated.

This error has popped up for some users before. I'm not sure exactly what the solution was. For some people it was updating their video drivers. For others it was removing 'spyware' or some other interfering software.

The CDV release is a bit different from the Demo. However I wouldn't think that it would be that different. If you try out the Demo again can you duplicate the same problem with it ?

What video card do you have ? Have you installed anything else since CMBO work problem free ? The only other issue that seemed to be related was 'spy-ware'. There is a removal utility mentioned in this thread.

There can be other programs that may be messing around with the way CM is working (being loaded in the memory while you're playing CM).

Schrullenhaft's help is beyond the call of duty. He answered my questions many months ago when I had trouble getting things up & running. What's really impressive about him is that doesn't even play CMBO. He doesn't even own a copy. He's so busy helping everyone that he doesn't even have time to eat or sleep.

No, just kidding.

But I am curios Schrullenhaft. How often do you play? Thanks for all of your help. Can I get an amen?

Amen.

DL'd adware, ran it, were not that many files to remove. Rebooted and still no go. It literally was working one night when I went to bed and stopped working the next day. I hate gremlins.

In reading the other threads it does seem to have to do with WinME and the Dell installer, exactly what I have(still doesn't explain why it happened spontaneously). I'll bring an installer home from work and see what happens.

Thank you very much!
