Spec4Wilson
Yeah this is probably a rehash but I was wondering about PBEM compatibility between PC and Mac versions of CMBO. Can you play PBEM between the two machines or not, and if so is there any extra work to be done? I really appreciate any help on this.

No problem, but best to zip compress the files or it can go awry.
tar
As Wicky hints, the only problem is that sometimes Mailers on Macs and PCs have trouble understanding the attachments. In that case, it is possible that the transmitted files get corrupted and don't work. The only issue in cross-platform PBEM is to make sure you can reliably exchange the game files with your opponent.
Slappy
I agree, but this is just as true for PC to PC. Many internet mail services want to append the file to the text or otherwise strangely format it. .zips are just safer all around.
