TufenHuden
This is probly more difficult but I've a MS wireless mouse explorer 1.0a-I like the desighn and feel in my hand-what I don't like is replacing batteries-I also got a blue tooth version but that uses batteries like it's nothing. Well can one make this wired-I've tried google, no good info-tried MS and they told me to get bent in a nice way-looking to the homebrew modded community out there-I'm reaching but it never hurts to ask. [ May 21, 2005, 03:29 PM: Message edited by: TufenHuden ]
Schrullenhaft
I assume it's possible, but it probably isn't worth it. More than likely you'd have to purchase a wired mouse and pull out its electronics in order to get the proper connectivity hardware. However this can be a problem since mouse button switches are often on this board and their placement can be crucial. For the cost and effort, I don't assume that it would be worth it.
tar
I guess you need to look for either a wired version of the wireless mouse you have or else try to find another suitable mouse with a tail. Hmmm. Shouldn't wireless mice be called hamsters?
oi_you_nutter
i have the same problem with wireless mice and my solution is to use rechargable batteries having a mouse that I like is important enough to warrant the hassle of changing batteries etc
