What is the process for playing PBEM?

I just received a file from my M8, but have no idea as to how to start the pbem from my end.

I have followed this process:

-save file to incoming emails folder

-open file in saved games on menu page

-insert password

-save game file

and then "poof" I am booted back out to the main menu.

Lil help?

If I'm reading you right, send the file back to him. I'm not sure why, but there are a few more 'blank' screens of turns then in CMx1. I think it has something to do with getting the turns in line, but that is just my experience from playing a few PBEMs.

yup, first file in a CMx2 PBEM game is simply entering the password

bit pointless IMO but im sure there is some logic behind it somewhere

Speaking of which, is there a forum on here or thread for people that want to try PBEM the demo? ie- match making? I don't have any friends

Yes, I am not getting that one either. Just seems like an extra step that could be more streamlined.
